Inaugurating our largest project in Italy: Aprilia 1 - almost 30 MWp Solar PV plant

On June 18th, Sonnedix’s One Team, local government officials, and partners gathered in Aprilia, near Rome, to inaugurate our largest Italian project - the 30 MWp Aprilia 1 Solar PV plant.
What makes this project so unique?
🏡 With a production capacity of 50,000 MWh per year, the plant has the capacity to supply clean energy to more than 16,000 households.
☀ It spans an area of 30 hectares and is equipped with more than 50,000 photovoltaic modules.
☁ It will remove more than 25 tons of carbon dioxide every year.
In addition to clean energy production, the project has also had a positive impact on the local community, with a public green space and a children’s playground developed in the municipal area. It is a proud example of our collaboration with local residents and commitment to ensuring we make a positive impact on the communities we operate in.
