You're way off, the Woodstock music festival took place in Bethel, New york, In the Catskills. it was held on Max Yasgur's dairy farm near Woodstock, NEW YORK.
education isn't that great in Vermont..you have to excuse his liberalism
@@OnlyChudTTV The leader of the Republican Party is Donald Trump and you want to talk about stupidity...
You'd think a generation that grew up on computers could use Google and learn something....
Some 230 miles away, about a 4.5 hour drive..... On another note, Chud, this guy isn't from Vermont, he travels around the country making these videos.... you might want to look at his other videos and learn something, rather than open your mouth and just look stupid....
Chud, you have no idea what you are talking about. He is not from Vermont, which by the way has great education. You definitely need some educating yourself.
I live in Woodstock and I drive through that covered bridge every day on the way to school.
isn't that in the movie Baby Boom?
Is that the sleepy hollow bridge? Or beetle juice
I live in Pownal on the Southern most tip, In went to Woodstock last fall, crazy beautiful. We stayed by the Quechee Bridge, definitely coming back.
As a Vermonter, I'd agree, Woodstock is one of the most beautiful places, but bring your wallet, it's also VERY expensive.... Vermont is full of quaint and beautiful towns, and covered bridges... I live in a small, lessor known area and we have at least 3 covered bridges within a mile or 2 of each other....
what small towns would you recommend?
I live in white River Jct, born and raised. Wish everything wasn’t so damn expensive. Heaven for people who can afford it, if you don’t make 20+ an hour, your struggling, especially as a single man lol
@@caleblyman3763 I would love your insight on WRJ as a place of residence for a single woman who works remotely at a tech startup in a major city. I am looking at a few areas, Thetford, Rutland, Battlebro, Norwich, and Lyme NH
Taxes there are also high. Nice place to visit or live if you can afford.
Clicked on this to see the town. Alls I see is a bearded hipster face the whole time . Weak
Agree!! How stupid. We want to see the sites, not the narrator!!
I was gonna the same thing
Dude is funny,
Chill ax.
Agree. Would like to have seen more of the town.
NOTHING beats summer in Vermont! Mosquitoes be damned! Summer in VT is magical. So proud of my state.
I'm from Scotland and it would be my dream to live in New England one day! :-)
Haha! It would be my dream to live in Scotland!
And from Glasgow I do
I am from Austria and I am dreaming of Edinburgh and Northern Ireland
You live near Old England aka the Best England. As beautiful as this is England has that and much more history.
I lived in Aberdeen for years during my university days, Scotland is very beautiful too.
Just did a Vermont fall foliage tour last fall and it was great . I live in the Midwest and want to move to New England now . Everyone should get to experience Vermont in the fall at least once in their life .
I was gonna say maybe you should come in the Winter before you decide to move, but then I realized that you live in the Midwest which is way worse lol.
Id love to go during the fall.
I want to see the town not your face all the time. Film without your face on.
Then go film it yourself. You're very rude. He's not your whipping boy hateful crow.
It looks a lot like rural Kentucky, but only central where the knobs are. The Eastern part is very mountainous.
We are fortunate enough to live an hr from Woodstock. We live in Vermont and love traveling all around it. Up the road from Woodstock is the Billings Farm. Great history and it is a working historic farm.
I love going to billings
A little less of your head and more of town would be cool
I second the motion!
go make your own film asshole.
@@code-52 that's mature
@@raysutton488 And I say again, make your own video.
Simply me, if you are the person in the video, you should be ashamed not only for the video, but also your attitude in these comments. Instead of being offensive, maybe try to understand the many things that are wrong with this home movie. Nobody is trolling here except you. I live in the Woodstock area and this video does not represent Woodstock, Vermont, only your skewed idea of what Woodstock, Vermont is like.
"Woodstock" happened in Bethel, NY just outside of Woodstock NY, off of Rt 212 and the Saugerties exit of NYS Truway.
Is the farm still there or has it been built over?
This was a great video. I love Vermont and used to visit my grandfathers very small basic hunting cabin in East Barnard. The beauty of Vermont has remained etched in my soul
Woodstock is a nice little town and very clean judging from this video. We'll check it out in September. Leavenworth, Wa is a Bavarian themed town also not to be missed.
The entire West Coast is absolutely beautiful and amazing. Drove PC-1 from San Diego to Vancouver and it was beyond awesome. Everyone should put a West Coast drive on their Bucket List. I would move to Cali but it is way too expensive; and the taxes are sky high and getting higher. The policies of the West Coast are causing many to leave. Cali is great for the very rich and the very poor who are subsidized. People in the middle class are leaving.
Now I see why my aunt wants to purchase a vacation home up there. Its very beautiful:)
Sounds great. However, Vermont gets very cold in fall and winters and does not get warm until about June. If you like skiing and other winter sports, Vermont is great.
Woodstock, NY. Is about 2:30-3:00 hours south of Woodstock, Vt. That’s where the music festival took place in the summer of 1969. In the Catskill mountains.
Great clip! Love the kids comments. Had me laughing. Love these types of trips. Family-centric seeing the great American landscape and all it has to offer.
Vermont in the fall is stunning
I was just there yesterday. I fell in love.
Haha! I love this! I cant wait to move to Vermont!
Very expensive to live there.
My family and I just moved from Alabama to Richford Vermont. It’s stunning here. I can’t wait to explore more. Thanks for the video.
You and I both share the same enthusiasm over a charming town! My dream is to live somewhere in the New England area 😍
Your profile picture looks like an amazing place to be during autumn
@@alexwasherefirst Woodstock, VT! 🍂🍃
@@allthingscosy6815 I may have to visit there alongside Montpelier one day!
We’ve had the pleasure of going to Woodstock Vermont and the Sugarbush farm. I agree with you. It is truly the most beautiful place on earth. I dream of retiring there one day. Thank you for your video
Looks like a great place to retire!!
Sweeeet sweet video! A tear at the end when your wife read the Farmers Creed. U r So funny too
this was incredibly beautiful and touching. what a piece of art that you created for you and your family to remember and enjoy for years to come.
Ms Rose made this episode for me. ..first with the Clifford mention, then the sweet assurance that I am indeed, enough 😏❤ seriously, beautiful show today, guys
julie ross love it. Thanks so much.
your a funny dude. I came across your video while researching for trip. Woodstock is now going on the list of must see while in Vermont. Thank you.
The town will get flooded with tourists.
Woodstock is to quintessential, New England charm, as water is to wet. There is so much to it aesthetically that it overloads the senses. We live in CT and visit Woodstock and go for the foliage each Autumn. And I can relate because I was there yesterday. Tx
Grew up in a small town in Maine, nice to have a tourist behind the scenes 🤣🤣🤣
Wilton, ME! Get in there...
As a vermonter, from nearby barnard, my father, and apparently my great grandfather, call you cream shitters❤ and we love you.
We see YOU more than the town!
Then get off your dead ass and make your own film.
Simply Me, you're pretty rude and you've used this same comment several times. What's with you? Are you the guy in the video, heaven forbid?
@@susanmotschman4396 No, I can't stand people like you who troll videos to complain. Dont you have a life? What's it to you?
I just subscribe. You got me with “Your enough” 💖
Man. I have to say - it is obvious you do this whole editing thing professionally. The ending part with your wife's narration and the way you cut the footage together with the low key emotional music pulling it together. Gave me the feels. Great work - makes me super excited to get out on the road with my family and make some memories.
Keep up the great work with these videos and thanks for sharing. It's really inspiring.
Zach Hammer so happy to hear it. Thanks so much!
The legendary music festival happened in Bethel, New York, which is near Woodstock, NY - not so close to Woodstock, Vermont.
Wow what an incredible job on this episode! Best edit ever! Wow! Wow ! Wow !
Venne's Vlogs thanks so much!
Great video, Maybe Stowe would beg to differ. I grew up in Bratt. left in 1988. Family lives in Burlington area went back after several years during foliage and it made me cry. Amazing. Now I own 1/2 house south of Burlington. Live in So.Cal. but VT is looking very appealing.
So pretty and so cozy. I want to live there
Upstate NY and Westchester County are as beautiful and charming. Perhaps even more. Many celebrities have properties in upstate NY and New England.
I’m just watching this now. I live in DE and I have been ordering my gallon of syrup from Sugarbush for over 6 years at least 3 times a year. Maple syrup is definitely liquid gold!!
I love maple syrup and also honey. However, they make me gain weight very quickly. I have to carefully ration.
There is a beautiful new 228 page book titled "Vermont - An Outsider's Inside View" which is filled with amazing stories and around 200 full page photographs of the people and places that make Vermont one of the most unique and beautiful states. If you love Vermont or have always wanted to visit Vermont, you will love this handsome book. This is not your typical Vermont fall colors book. The book has won numerous national and international awards. You can order the book at: www.fineartspress.com
amazing editing i cant imagine how would a video is so amazingly editted thankyouuuuu for making such a great video
Beautiful Town- Come to Guilford CT sometime, beautiful coastline and Town.
Vermont is gorgeous in all 4 seasons. However, there are places like that in Maine, upstate NY, PA, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, NC, California, Oregon, Washington State that are as beautiful. The Catskills and Adirondacks are also gorgeous and incredibly charming. Vermont is very expensive to visit or reside. The other Woodstock is in NY.
Thanks for sharing this town with us. It goes on the itinerary for our New England trip next year.
Kris Perez of course. It’s definitely worth the trip.
Both of my parents are from Vt.
My whole life every summer was spent there.
My twins have been as lucky to spend as well.
So some other places in Vt Middlebury cool college town💓 shelburne💕 Westin & manchester. We never run out of fun in Vt.
One summer we just went on waterfall hunts.
And if in NY: lake placid pretty sweet.
This was so great! Than you 🙏❤️
Just stumbled on your channel and I’m surprised you don’t have more followers! Keep up the awesome videos and half the people in the comments and go kick rocks.
Beautiful town thanks for the tour my friend
Yep. Now I don't have to go. LOL.
Flethcher hill road, mom in law lived there forever. Just recently moved. I did a pretty painting of that bridge...she won't give it back.
The way this guy dismissed the boy in the opener is all I needed to see.
'' Look at this boy'' You got me there lol!
I have to say I think this is the best video you’ve put together lol the town looks so beautiful and I like the part of your wife reading and watching the different clips while she does. Awesome! The beauty of nature just makes you be so thankful.
It does for sure. So appreciate the kind words also. Love hearing good feedback when trying to add a little more spit and polish. Thanks so much for the comment!
Suburban Pilgrims your welcome! I love your channel ❤️
Whoaaaa this was before covid! 😮
Very charming! Must add Chatham Mass. to your list. New England is beautiful
Yes so beautiful. I love the Mad River Valley in VT
The Hunt. Great Episode
Love his passion!
Beautiful town!! I live in NL, Canada, and the Canadian equivalent of Woodstock, VT is Brigus, NL.
Canada has the most gorgeous red maples in the world. Canada is a great place to go if you want snow at Christmas.
Omg you walked past my house
Frenchtown, New Jersey is beautiful!
Jersey does have some beautiful places and farmland.
uuhhh... I really don't mean to be mean but the Woodstock Music Festival took place in a different state. It was about 40 miles outside of Woodstock New York.
I subbed today to ur channel as u my sir are as funny as heck....
Absolutely great video.
very nice review and vlog ... great fun
Thinking of moving here, what's it like?
I like your family and videos.
You should visit Helen, Ga.
dude this shreds, you shred! nice one
TheStewyCrew thanks!
Very nice ! Y'all should check out Highlands N.C
Ha Clifford the Big Red Dog, love it! I think somebody processes like Dad ha! ( I'm speaking from experience) Yea free spirit type B personalities!!!
I love your perspective on this beautiful extravagant town, I’d see a walkaround video if I wanted to see it in detail. Donno why people are being rude.
Keep up the great work!
Bearded hipsters rule. And I want to see Vermont. ✌🏾
My mom grew up there.
I heard if you go to Woodstock you aren't allowed to leave. seriously though i guess its a town where you can live if you are rich
Beautiful
great video and great personality. Woodstock actually took place near me in Bethel NY and thats about 4 hours away from Woodstock NH. there is a woodstock NY also though and that is about an hour from Bethel NY
I'm from Jamaica.. i spend my vacation in Woodstock yearly
The town was like in the movies
Good bro you share happiness thanks for your video
Come to Franklin, TN!
🖤 thank you from algerien
Higgy..lives!
You must try to visit Bisbee & Tombstone Arizona
Take off your shades to see the beauty!
Dude the that's like the headless horseman bridge that Ichabod Crane had to cross to safety!!
That was also in NY, Sleepy Hollow. It's basically a part of NYC now, due to city rats (like this guy) escaping the city and settling there. City people are animals that invade peaceful places and ruin them.
@@GunsNBudder You sound like a hateful person.
Is it the Beetlejuice bridge
Still waiting for the part where he shows Vermont, because all I saw was his face
Go to Midland, TX. You’ll love it buddy.
Woodstock music festival is Woodstock, NY
Sorry, but the concert was in bethel ny. Which is close to Woodstock ny. I grew up in Woodstock and yes it is beautiful town! When he says Woodstock was one mile west, he was in west Woodstock it was one mile east of that bridge, oh and that's where us young hippies had our own woodstock , right up from that bridge, my two friends and we stole his dad's car a Chevy 400 station wagon, we were maybe 13 we dropped some acid and on the way out we plowed threw that corn field, forgot to take the corn out of the grill! Oops!
If you're a Vermonter this is the most ordinary video lol
Vermont is calling me.
Did you ever make it there?
That bridge was in Baby Boom wasn't it?
Filmed in Peru Vt.
Some videos around southern Tennessee/north Georgia/ Alabama would be cool
If we seen more of the town than you. We could judge for ourselves.....
I live in Vermont
Chase Monfette same
Okay now go to North Conway and the Fryeburg Fair on the border of New Hampshire and Maine
Instead of jealously coveting someone else's town and environs, focus your energy on making your own town better.
What song title and artist is at 5:52?
What is the name of the song that says something like “imagine we’ll be free”. Love the song.
Elizabeth Hofmann did you ever get the name of the song?
Ashli Turner no I did not!
World B Free by Manute Bol.
I've been to that bridge in Watch Dogs
Wonder what the name of the songs are....
Does it beat Ithaca and Princeton?
