Jodie deserved it this year. She was amazing in Killing Eve Season 2. She was able to pull off four accents (not her own) in a single scene: Russian, British, Australian, and American. Then she as "Villanelle" she became Billie, an American rehab junkie with completely different physical mannerisms and expressions. She steals every scene she's in, and has excellent comedic timing. Chris M Ellen is the one host who def needs to redeem herself. Think when she first interviewed her the show hadn’t broken out in the US yet as it has now. Subsequently when Taylor Swift was on Ellen several months back and said KE was one of her favorite shows, Ellen also agreed. She seemed more genuine then. Let’s hope the next time (prob next year) Jodie is on the show, she would be better at asking the right questions.

She owns the moment with such ease and confidence and it’s quite impressive . I see why she won the Emmy because of her gift of acting and making you feel at ease in conversations . Lights up the screen with elegance and charm and it’s soooo cute ! Obviously we all love that accent but me being Irish I feel that it sounds a bit Irish to me but it’s that scouser talk that sounds like a lot of things lol ! She’s a fine woman in a time where we all need a bit of warmth and compassion with Covid going around and I enjoy my Villanelle/Jodie escapes from reality ! Live on in greatness Miss Jodie and congratulations !!!

not really that shocking bcoz if the leading actress in emmy will be judged solely based on how the actress portrayed her role... she should definitely win.. i mean im sure all the nominees are all good but jodie's portrayal of villanelle is just so freaking amazing... most of the times without saying a word she can definitely expressed the emotion of the scene.. she is a total chameleon in killing eve... if ur a fan of jodie comer.. her tv series white princess is a definite must watch plus the series is also great too!

@@KNightRider504 it's Scouse, she's a Liverpudlian, like John and Paul, George and Ringo. She's lives in South Liverpool (Mossley hill)where I live and not far from where John and Paul lived. Paul has a similar twang as people would put it. There's huge connectios to new York (historical) 😄x
