    Not a 2001. CBR 954 was only built in 2002 and 2003, I was lucky enough to find one last year with only 5000 miles on it. Awesome machine .

    Sigh....dude get to know these bikes before "reviewing" them. The 954 is one of the BEST bikes Honda made. It weighed 424lbs with 132HP at the wheel. The power to weight ration mixed with its frame makes it better ANY 600cc motorcycle in 2016 and even today. So buy a 954 for a couple of thousand...or pay 12k for a new one..or worse...a 300cc bike.

    • @kx250braap
      @kx250braap 3 года назад +1

      I have a friend that bought a 300 and the thing is terrible gutless as hell I asked him why he didn’t buy at least a 600 and he said it was to much power I said it absolutely is not they are very tame and can be fast if you get on them but you have to really get on them I laughed when I took it for a ride felt like a moped I’ll stick with my 929

    • @kaiser98berlin
      @kaiser98berlin 3 года назад +1

      After jumping from a moped to a 954 I found it amazingly nimble and easy to ride. Last few weeks ride of a friend's RC 200 made it felt like a bicycle 😐 or I'm spoiled badly from my 954.

    • @tangledline

      @@motomax13 It is STILL one of the best light balanced bikes today...if you can find one. I had the original 1993 900rr and it was beyond crazy light but then again, we were used to heavy low hp sport bikes. If you can do more reviews on the older ones...its a blessing to guys like us...Find an older 1990s 600R Ninja...those were the 1st of the "Neenjas" that pissed every old coot in the city..lol. Be safe and thank you for your contribution.

      BlueNinjaX11 I only know how good the zx6r 636 A1P is because I owned one. It's simply amazing for everything but the front brakes are so bad with ninjas generally. Thats one of the reasons I crashed it so bad. If you go with a ninja examine the brakes and budget in an upgrade as it's likely you'll need it. As for the zx10r for sure that will keep up, it's an amazing bike but be careful as it's likely to be in poor condition. Again budget in a suspension, brake upgrade and new tyres. A front suspension overhaul is usually essential but well worth ever penny (expensive) in my humble opinion. Goodluck buddy, watch out for the sharks.

    I was seriously considering this bike back in the day but it was too cramped riding position and or too small for me, got a Hayabusa instead, which at the time worked for me. A friend got it, and oh boy what a fucking beast. I was doing 180 on my Hayabusa and he was 3 lengths behind me. It was just too uncomfortable, another I wish Honda made this comfy. I’d like to think this is one of the best sport bikes bikes made, ever!

    Just bought an 2003 which was the last year of the REAL FIRE BLADES .They were build to compete with the Ducati's on and off the track. And did just that!
    Your reviewing a bike that is too much power for you anyhow considering you habent even cracked the throttle.
    So before you review on something as legendary as this bike Know your facts bro .This bike was far ahead of it's time. And will still keep up with the litter bikes today ! Not ALL OF THEM obvisioly, but for a mediocre rider such as yourself this bike would be more then enough for you ! Lmfao. Maybe even too much. Sorry. But that's my review of your review .

You're pretty sure that 954 stands for the engine cc? The only thing you keep saying is: "it's really old". Joke! But it's "quick, unique and... loooud". Sure!
      Honestly I usually don't bother with typing comments but such an ignorance just pisses me off (probably because I own this model myself). I can sum up the video in only three words then: "WASTE OF TIME"!

    Shame on you. You just used one of the best handling Sportsbikes ever created and just went in a straight line with it. It would be like some guy trying the best vintage wine ever made but has never drank wine before and gave the verdict of, nahhhh, it's ok but not for me.
    Get back out on that bike, get some heat into some decent tyres on it and ride it hard through some of the best twisties.
    You get me?
