Hey Jon! I got a question about coyotes in the rain. I listen to your podcast every week during work. Was wondering how much the rain changes coyote movement, activity…etc. and if scouting and locating in the rain is worth it? I only had Wednesday off this week. Wanted to do a-little scouting Tuesday night, but it was raining all day and night here in PA. Thanks!
@@2moutdoors475 We have called them up in misting rains, and have seen them on their feet while raining several times. That being said, it’s definitely not an optimal time to be calling, but you can have success.
Jon, did you see the 2nd coyote back in the timber on your 2nd coyote kill? He was lurkin in the shadows! About 5 yards to the right of the yote you killed, behind the fence, just left of the tall purple flower!
Yeah, I probably should have waited another 30 seconds and they both would have been in the field. I went ahead and took the3 shot though. I didn't want to press my luck where I had ran one out of the field, and then had the farmer drive in. I'll be back though! See if I can't get him Cleaned up. Thanks, bud!
Yes sir--Ole Dead Eye gets it done again. You still not able to come up with a good Decoy Dog to use on your hunts yet? I know you've got to be considering that!!
I've hunted with several decoy dogs over the years, and filmed several hunts with them, but I'm not cut out for owning one. Haha! Appreciate you, Clark!
Hello Jon Do you have a pic rail or arca plate on that ruger gen 2. I need one looking for the right one with the rounds of the stock. Where and what kind is of i could pick one up thanks. Good shooting
I used to think this was cruel, then after moving to Colorado and seeing the endless calamity caused by these menaces, I changed my mind.
They can definitely cause a lot of devastation. Appreciate you watching.
