I'm VERY excited for her new album. That Liberation intro alone murders the entire Lotus. I can't wait! But, She needs to control her vocal delivery. She sounded so messy during this concert, like she didn't care at all how what she sounded like, didn't pay any attention to her vocals. And that's fine for a one concert, but I can't imagine her singing like this during each show on tour, she's just not going to make it, even with vocal chords that are apparently made from steel. She's capable of balancing strained and healthier vocals and her Carpool Karaoke is a proof of that.
I noticed her vocals get messier in concert. She sounded quite nice in her Masterclass videos and doing random notes/performances on The Voice; but when it comes to her live concerts, her vocals are a MESS. She strains and oversing more than usual, and puts an insane amount of chest into her belts. As a singer, I can only imagine what that must be doing to her vocal chords.
Couldn't agree more. She's good in random and partial singing. But in concerts, her voice is messy. She can't handle her songs. She skips the lyrics and dodges notes, which of course as a fan, gives u dissatisfaction for not being able to hear her do those studio notes in live.
M C lowering the larynx wouldn't cause big problems. Charice had been doing this larynx thing for years and she could still sound powerful and belt tons of upper belts. Xtina ,on the ther and ,only gets raspier and raspier vocal as shouting goes on.

I agree, like she gets too excited during a show and loses control over her voice. But she also sounds she hadn't warmed up her belts at all, she probably did couple head voice scales and that's all. For example, nice Bb4 at 1:44 and then the next one is tense and throaty, no consistency.

It only feels bad because where only getting snippets of her hitting those brief notes most are cut short when they show the note she's hitting, imagine hearing the song from start to finish.
Yeah she is trying to hit it, it's a hugh sign imo. She tried in 2016 too (video on my channel lol). Btw the fact she sounded bad here it's just because she lost the stamina, it's possible she will gain strength after performing more.

True. Tours are like the worse for a singer, they do it because we fans love to see them in our cities ofc, but any artist with such difficult songs should refrain from doing them over and over. I'm totaly fine if they lip some songs or parts. I always say this about Mariah and I believe the same for Xtina and other "belters".

Notorious O.L.B she will be singing more now than she has in a very long time. She has been struggling a lot through her sets a private shows. Even the ain't no other man opening run has become a bit difficult for her. Her voice is deeper and a lot more raspy. I do think she might struggle. I want her to work with a very good vocal coach

Ryan Allen she can't sing the F5s anymore.. So any song that has that note, she will dodge it. She's been singing for more than two decades and still go up to E5. That's one note lower and not a far cry from her F5.

I don't know if it's because of the weight gain or because it's been a long time since her last tour, but everything seems off. She really needs to take care of her voice, and work on that stage presence. She seems tired all the time. If goes on tour like this, it won't be good at all, and she won't last until the end of it.

I understand the mv being overly sexual and naughty to get awareness but I am disappointed on the resemblance to Miley's doooo it. It simply makes her comeback less impactful and gets the label of copycat or outdated. This could be blamed to the marketing group and mv director.
