50:28 look at the stage video. It doesn't fit the audio so this audio is edited LMFO lars is a poser and didn't relearn anything because he is still lazy
That's because he is the album version. 😆 And to the moron who said he faking it you're drunk stay home please. Not a METALLICA fan then don't participate. I was right up front. He was definitely playin the F'N shit out of his drums
@@mpmarques i wasn’t planning to go crowdsurfing during this song. It’s just the song I happened to crowdsurf to. And also I’d love to do it again, this was my first festival

I was there! It was friggin nuts man for real. As most Metallica shows are. Festival was lame until Sunday night when this happened. Crowd went from mild to WILD 😂
Gotta think how big a crowd this was also. It was massive. They are really only hearing up front on the soundboard. It went a dam 1\2 mi behind the SB lol
We were there too, fought to get up front Drove all the way from South Texas I’m the guy who yells… Dont tread on me bitch, cuz Im sick of lockdown bullshit
Was the 4th Metallica show I've seen in my life and I have to say it was THE MOST EPIC FRIGGIN SHOW IVE EVER BEEN APART OF!!!! CRAZIEST MOST INSANELY BRUTAL CROWD IVE SEEN IN PROBABLY ALL MY LIFE. FRIDAY WAS GOOD. KFC YUM CENTER IN 2019 WAS AWESOME. MY 1ST TIME IN 98 WAS AWESOME. THIS WAS TRULY HISTORICAL IN THE METAL WORLD. JUDAS PRIEST 50TH AND THE BLACK ALBUM 30TH TOGETHER WAS EXTREMELY BADASS ⚡⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘🤘🖤🖤🖤🖤🖕🖕🖕🖕🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was there. Close enough to see the sweat dripping from the band. Hands down the best experience I ever had. Louder than Life is great anyway. But, 2 nights of Metallica, seeing your favorite band, and 160,000 fantastic people from all around the world to experience the same thing you are just adds to it. And the entire black album. Nothing will ever top this show.
Road trip to SC, detoured to Louisville for the corvette museum and to see judas priest and Metallica. My gf first metal concert, she got hooked. Great show. Had been 29 years since I've seen them live, we had a smile on our face for the rest of the trip.

lars definitely relearned the whole black album. his drumming is so good. almost like the album version
Hmm no.

I was there by myself but had an absolute blast!! Please come back to Louisville!!
James is looking so much healthier lately. 🤘🏻
Hopefully he'll stay like that.
Sadly this is the worst hetfield singer ever. Amazing
One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. If you see someone with long hair crowdsurfing during The Unforgiven, it’s probably me
Nice song to crowdsurf. You should try nothing else matters next.

My Friend of Misery is becoming my favorite live track of theirs solely for that crowd singalong part. Sounds haunting
im saying! it breaks my heart to see people not sing along to that

I really like that James sings the "is the end" part of blackened again, also at 1:32:27 Rob is trying to repoduce the album sound, I see

50:28 This is the moment he fucked up on Through the Never, look at him on the screen. But hey, nobody's perfect.
Most bands edit their live performances in post to make the rough bits sound better. And if they don't overdo it that's completely fine.
