Emma Richey 2023 LHSAA Volleyball State Tournament

Emma Richey junior setter for Mt. Carmel helped lead her to team to a Division I State Runner Up finish at the LHSAA Volleyball State Tournament last weekend at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
Richey averaged 44 assists/match and had a team-high 7 aces in MCA's three matches where they beat No.7 Ruston 3-0 in the Quarterfinals and No.3 Dutchtown 3-0 in the Semifinals before falling to No.1 Dominican 3-1 (33-31 in final set) in the finals.
Richey closes the season with 1,340 assists
