I'm curious why you didn't disconnect the torque converter from the flex plate. Doing that *may* have given it enough wiggle to break free from the block (then again, it looked pretty damn stuck).
I had originally planned to do that, and I even crawled underneath the engine to remove the TC from the flex plate to just realize I didn't want to be under the engine and transmission with just the hoist being the holding mechanism. It ultimately came down to impatience on my part.

Dude, the 2.0 Ecoboost can be a MONSTER for its size. I daily an F150 Ecoboost and I wouldn't have anything else!
