@@Sean-0017 Namida and Wasabi were "mommed" by Otsuyu and Odashi respectively, so their personality inherits their mommies (Odashi is kinda a second mom) respectively as well. As Namida inherits Otsuyu's spurt adolescence and calm nature (which Uncle Bob likes girls of such), and Wasabi inherits Odashi's tad jealousy and tomboyish nature (shown in videos before when both Odashi and Tororo were together alone, and Odashi's temper upon Oage).

Actually, Tororo has mom's face and dad's eyes. Loutre mentioned before that Namida and Wasabi took over their dad's looks, while Tororo to Otsuyu's.

I've been saying since Bob and Namida first met that they are going to make beautiful babies together. Can't wait!!! Wasabi's bad manners concerning her little brother is kinda sad. Hope she gets over whatever is bothering her. Tororo is such a sweetie he doesn't deserve any nastiness. Love that little guy!
Perhaps, like the others said, Wasabi was just simply angry and jealous that male otters took away her family's attention of her. As Namida's taken by Bob, Otsuyu and Odashi by Tororo...

Thank you for explaining why you were being cautious when introducing Tororo to his father and (at least one) sister. I was curious about the need to keep them separated; now I understand. Sure hope Tororo's cuteness will win them over and the whole family can swim, eat and play happily and peacefully! So glad for Bob and Namida, too! 😍
I imagine in the wild when the mother gives birth to a new baby, they'd drive the old ones away, as that's how it is for a lot of animals. So the instinct for Wasabi upon seeing a new baby brother is "oh crap, he's gonna take my spot" fortunately in this case these aren't wild otters. Once she realizes there's nothing to worry about she should calm down.

I cut Wasabi some slack, Kjata316, because she's too much alone right now. She's not with her mom and aunt. She's not with her sister. She's not with her father. Yet otters are social animals. I think that must be very hard on her--especially since she's somewhat high strung by nature. Maybe when she chills out a little bit and/or once Tororo is a little older, she'll enjoy being with him. We can only wish them luck and for Loutre Mom to keep her otters from harming one another.

Surprisingly, Totoro doesn't actually seem very frightened of Wasabi. He acts more curious and friendly almost like "what's the matter with her?". I think Mom is right - Wasabi is a bit jealous.
I'm glad she keeps giving them brief exposures to each other. I'll bet Wasabi will calm down.

🦦🦦🦦 Mom, thanks for catching us up on Tororo's father and sisters! I wasn't at all surprised that Namida has taken up with Bob in a more serious way, because she play-flirted with him a *lot* when she was too young to choose a mate. I hope they'll be very happy together and--who knows? --maybe her sister and brother will have some little nephews and/or nieces soon. I'm sorry that Wasabi wasn't in a very good mood with Tororo, but it must be hard on her to be separated from her sister due to Nami's and Bob's preoccupation with each other *and* for her to be separated from her mother and aunt. As for Tororo and Oage, I hope they'll have a good meeting in tomorrow's video. As you say, Tororo's a big boy now which will hopefully make him more acceptable to his father. I *really* look forward to their meeting, while acknowledging it might not go well! Love to you and all your otter "grandchildren."
