  • Over the years, poor old jaguar has been a bit of a shambles as if passed through more hands than a geriatric buffet. It has emerged as a subsidiary of TATA, the giant Indian car maker. Their models have gotten prettier with each generation, and the current crop are crackers. We done the E-Pace before, and thought it was a bit spesh.

    E-Pace Review 1, E-Pace Review 2, E-Pace Review 3
That brings us to the majestic and imperious 2021 Jaguar E-Pace R-Dynamic P250 S AWD. It is as pretty as a gym-fit twink in speedos, and as handy as a fully-pouched tradie with boots and a flamnnie. All of that imagery belies the fact that all Jaguars feel like a charismatic country pile on wheels.
It starts with the exterior design, which is all swoopy and roundie.
19” wheels are no biggie, and the headlights still like the ones that came out with original E-Pace. Jag has done all the hard work under the skin, or should I say, under the glass. The bejewelled array is full automatic, with LEDs, and an optional matrix system. See the video for a really cook infographic.
The body is a clever mix of metals including aluminium. Not only does it make the body rigid for handling, but the safety is dialled up to max.

Nice car, great review. Looks and sounds like quality as a Jag should, but where’s the handbrake? A comfortable car to own. I won’t, but it would be a lovely car to have in the garage. Great review to end 2021. Thanks!

What is the point of a fast slopeing rear hatch when it cuts in rear pass headroom as well interior storage capacity - isn't that why u get a UTILITY vechile.
Otherwise get a 2 seater sports car and a torque-e pickup.

you're absolutely right!!!! SUVs have long since stopped being beefy 4X4's. the car makers keep making more of them because buyers keep on buying them in preference to passenger cars. keep in mind, pick-ups at the top selling cars in australia, consistently:) a slopey SUV is for peeps who want something different i guess

184kw in a compact SUV you'll find that will hot hatch like acceleration

Again a great review. Would really help if I was looking for a compact upscale SUV. But I think I can see why Jaguar don’t sell more cars.

I really appreciate your review and your opinions. I certainly have no interest in any of its German competitors .I just need to accept the rather high Jag price and a 2 litre turbo engine after the Jaguars of yesterday which I so love. But I am very much an Alfa lover and they are also using 2 litre turbo engines in the cheaper Stelvio. I shall watch the review again as I so respect your views. I wonder how the two marques’ SUVs compare as neither sell as well as they deserve.
