Hi. You've covered a great deal in this edition, very informative, many bands and artists I've not listened to, quite a few not even heard of but.... Though I will remain respectful to your choices, (we're all different) I have to disagree with many choices sitting in the 41 - 80 positions.... Steven Wilson - The Raven that refused to Sing Steve Hackett - Voyage of the Acolyte Chris Squire - Fish out of Water Jon Anderson - Olias of Sunhillow Focus - Hamburger Concerto & Camel - Moonmadness These are some of the pillars of prog rock (for me) and they would easily be in my top 15, most of them in my top 10. Still, an interesting post, thanks 👍
@@TheHarold1966 Many people will agree with you, as many people won't. Oh, the wonders of music and boy does it sometimes divide us... But everyone here shares a love for music 👍
Ay yo nice choices. Steve Hackett AND Trevor Rabin?!!! Both my fav. members of my fav. bands in the same list? That is unbelievable! Also interesting that No Jacket Req'd is on the list, nobody (besides myself) would think of Phil's solowork as prog, but I guess it has some merit. Nice Tarkus shirt btw!
Thank you for your knowledge.
Peace on earth
Thank you very much.
I like prog
Yes indeed.
Opeth - Windowpane is my favorite
Ok interesting.

I can imagine your choices. The problem is there are too many good prog rock classics so they don't fit in a top 40.

Thank you. Yeah Steve Hackett and Trevor Rabin in the same list.
In what world is "No jacket required" a prog album?
The songs Doesn't Anybody Stay Together Anymore, Inside Out and Take Me Home are for sure progressive rock.
No, Harold...... Grobschnitt Rockpommel`s Land is better!
Grobschnitt with Rockpommel's Land is indeed very good. Also a very nice album cover.
