@@polizzi82: That’s the exact same furnace as mine (model #GUI075A016IM & serial #L922184947), but I haven’t been able to find that specific igniter part & it’s the same one on mine. Are there other ones that will work ? It’s getting down to 38-40 degrees @ night here, so I turned on the heater & noticed it was blowing cool air & temperature on thermostat was not going up. Any suggestions where I might be able to find that part or something universal maybe ? I just wanted to try to fix it myself before I have to call an HVAC technician to come out. BTW, thank you for your video ! It was very helpful & the best one I could find that I could relate to 👍🏼.
@yanet: I had another HVAC tech come out and show me... Apparently mine was directly below the unit. It was pretty gross since it hadn't been changed since it was installed.
@@FemmeEvita If you 'google' or amazon search for any of those: Part number include SIG101, ERIG101, CARBO 0206DC, 902661, S1-02530277700, 66DC90 You'll get compatible parts. A lot look different, but they all act like resistors, glowing red hot and igniting the gas when it starts. Best of luck -Mike
I have the exact same issue where the thermostat shows heating but after 15-20 minutes of running but not reaching temperature, the hot air stops blowing but furnace is still running. I have the same furnace but don't have the piece you replaced. Everything else looks identical. ????
People like you are amazing thank you. I have the same furnace and same problem
Very descriptive and step by step troubleshooting, I love it...Already liked and subscribed to your channel!
You saved me a few hundred dollars. Thank you so much!
Glad to hear it :D
Nice vid!
Thanks Paul :)
Do you know where's the filter for this
This unit does not include an internal filter. Just trace where it sucks air in and you should find it there.

Just curious- why should you not touch the black part?
The oils from your skin will short it out and it will fail prematurely. Same with your car's headlight bulbs.

I’m seeing that on my furnace too. Was this ignitor not original? The ignitor on mine is mounted under and behind the second flame from the left.
