Yep that Hawse mod takes some time. If you haven't already got one I would recommend a very fine razer saw for doing that sort of fine work. The junior hack saw blades are okay but a bit harsh for very fine work. Good job though! 😉
Thanks Johnny, I’ll have a look! Yes it’s a very tedious job I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve filled it again because I’m not happy with the shape. I think once it’s primed I’ll be able to judge it better
@@thetitanicbuild Spot on! I had the same problem when I did mine. Yes, keep sanding it and try not to lose patience with it. I must have corrected mine at least 4 or 5 times before it looked reasonably good. A good primer will do wonders. 👍
@@ethanmietzner5218 the Facebook page Titanic Model China 3D prints does the Hawse pipe without the fairleads. There are fairleads supplied in the KA kit though.
Tidy build so far however I believe the oil system is unnecessary complexity. These shafts can be greased easily and should only need doing once every so often.
Good evening, great video, I just discovered it. Could you tell me what tools, the brand you used at 3 minutes? At 3 minutes 50, what paste did you use? Thank you in advance for your answer
Great show, great content. Very informative. Thanks very much for your time and efforts to make your shows
Your very welcome! I’ll hopefully get the poop deck video up in the next couple of weeks!

Thanks! The oil system was an easy job, I plan to complicate things a lot more yet!

Hi, it’s Humbrol Model filler, I use it because I find it quite easy to sand.

Thanks a lot for your answer. And the tool you use has 2 minutes 57, it seems to cut well. Can you tell me where you got it please. Thanks
