Hey man! Saw this video as I was researching this game. I'm gonna pick it up in part because of your review. This was a great video and has all the elements of the pro review videos. Keep it up!
I've been enjoying this game quite a bit, but I'm kinda astounded at the level of information density it has. I find myself making mistakes because I forgot something a lot more often than I do in similar games. but at the same time that level of detail and stuff to remember and manipulate is also a big part of the appeal. it's a delicate balance that I think they make work a lot of the time, but there are times where it feels like it loses that balance and becomes overwhelming
Slice and Dice looks really neat and has been on my radar recently. In terms of nostalgia games that's tricky cause there's quite a few but I would say Chrono Trigger, FFTactics, and Robot Alchemic Drive. Modern might be trickier cause I'm not even sure where i would put the cutoff for "modern" games lol, but I would probably say Slay the Spire, Monster Hunter World, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon would probably sit towards the top, though admittedly the top 3 spots kinda swap around a bit depending on my mood at the time.

Right on. Thanks.
Great review! What are your top three favorite nostalgia games? And top three modern games? I picked up Astrea after getting hooked on Slice and Dice
