I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Roman Kaiden Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Francisco M. Del Castillo S. Exactly what i think about when watching electric glider videos, also it would be awesome to have some kind of recharging from the trailer which you transport the glider on, with the spinning of its wheels on a highway/road.
This is not possible for several reasons. First of all, if you let the propeller running, there would be a massive "airbrakes" effect which would significantly drop the L/D ratio. Secondly, your igc file would consider that your motor is running, which means you "outlanded". This is a good idea if you want a motorglider for fun, but that's it.
@@AntoineHavetGliding I'll take a motor glider for fun any day of the week;-) Was in CZ to buy the last M17 wood motor glider with all kinds of spares parts including manufacturing tools but 911 happened so shipping it to the USA then was not going to happen, and then got in a lawsuit with an HOA and exposed the corruption attorneys in the US rely on so never made it back over there as I expected to do. Nice to see a a full scale electric glider.
A question, with an electric propulsion system available upon demand. I wounder if a pilot operating such a flight vehicle which by characteristics is to be a glider. I wounder if pilots have a tendency to take extraordinary chances knowing this form of propulsion is available to them upon demand. Verse a pilot flying a glider which does not have a self propulsion system.
I don't remember, but as you can see, you can T/O from very short runways.. basically you will recharge the batteries the night before the flight.. so I would say between 2 and 8h.. haha
The Pilot Salut !
This is an aircraft I'm interested in. I started to watch it expecting, firstly, prop and motor in-flight sound and flight characteristics. .. So unfortunately, when the usual musac took over and the video sped up, .... lost me there. It could have been good?
Are you interested in a 2h flight video on this channel ? I may upload it. Nevertheless, this glider is now outdated in my opinion, and I would rather advise you to check out the GP14 Velo or even a Discus 2 which is now available with the FES system. Best regards, Antoine
You need to learn proper stall recovery: PITCH->(POWER)->BANK. Not Pitch+Bank at once. Putting the stick in the front left/right corner (as shown at 3:40) is how you roll an airplane inverted. Nothing you want to do at a low altitude stall. At slow flight, always keep wings level with rudder only!
basic training with st Yan method in french ALAT 1969. Roulis induit. These plane are pure jewels. I have a great respect for the men who make this possible and the builder of those marvels.
This is true as well. And it is a good thing to do in my opinion, to test the unexpected. Just imagine someone is not using the proper stall recovery manoeuvre. Here you can see that the glider still react in a positive and safe manner and that everyone can fly it.
Beautiful terrain, catching thermals. Doing away with the towplane just adds to the freedom of a glider. Enjoy. Thanks.
Great aircraft and exciting video but the whole point of a sailplane is if there's any noise, it's just the wind. Kill the music
Excellent!!! Respect!
Thanks !
Why the music ?
Bakermat - Strandfeest
Super vidéo magnifique ❤️
Batterie-Einbau ist stark verbesserungswürdig.
Is that Ron Burgandy on the yazz flute??
He's kind of a big deal, you know.
So cool idea, video and music ..THANKS!!
O ser humano e suas máquinas maravilhosas!

@Roman Kaiden It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out !
@Cairo Coleman No problem =)
I wonder if there's anyway to recharge battery when flying by leaving open the propeller.

Fantastico!!
Excellent.
I’ll take one..! How much to Australia..?
Awesome!!!!!!!!

A smart glider pilot would use it for launch only, cause as soon as you rely on it....the motors gonna fail.
please repost without music
Now what is the cost
It’s just a giant RC Glider... crazy..!
Awesome
Nice video. How long must the runway be for a safe takeoff?
How long does it take to charge the batteries?

@reverse thrust They were only given the glider to test on a flight. They wouldn't really have those details. The glider designer, Alisport would.
8:44 isn't a movie it's a clip.

Sorry for that ! It is a good but expensive glider. You should check out all the new gliders equiped with the FES system to have your answer ! :)
What is the actual sound of the motor running?
MsScruffy4 you didn't watch the video.
you would not want the batteries to come loose in flight!
interressant wäre es, wenn man das Variometer hören würde !!
Great.
Cuánto vale un planeador de esas características
El precio de este planeador es aproximadamente 80k - 100k€ :)
Thoughts ? In case of a crash, the battery will definitely destroy your spine/head from behind. Not my world, sorry ...
The batteries are aft of the main wing spar.
If you crash you have way bigger problems than a battery smacking you in the dome
Nice Music!

MrDanielMUC it has been corrected now, hopefully learnt that before my CPL ;) Thanks for the comment and good flights !

Thank God for the mute button.
I don’t want to criticize, but the constant beat of the drum caused me to leave.
Techno beats cool

The music sucks! Flying good!
scheissmusik völlig unnötig.
Price?
