@LynnLombardo He doesn't have big and rich voice at all :P If not mike people would have big problems to hear him even in small halls (thats why nobody wanted him in opera houses). Beautiful, but surely not resonant and rich.
@prog112 It is very easy to be negative and too smart, and very hard to be good person and one of the best in the job you are working. Andrea is that kind of person.

Bocelli's does not at all lack a sense of the proper sentiment regarding the lyrics of popular standards and, I daresay, his unschooled instrument actually works very much in his favor, in such as in this one by Lucio Dalla. Not as dramatic as M. Pavarotti but his version might be the most perceptive among many.
