Yep. Totally agree. Most of these dramas give you 2nd ML syndrome. The Pathway of Evil is paved by good intentions. Be careful of what you wish for, because you might get it. The Heavens hear our pleas and requests. We are lucky sometimes to not get what we want. Another drama that proves this is Lost You Forever. The ML is disappointing enough that you root for the Blooding Drinking Humanoid Dragon. I know I did!

Although I don’t hate Ah Jin character I don’t believe he deserved Ah Yin- yes, he cared for her but love, a pure, binding, in a romantic type of way love, no. Their relationship, to me at least, reminds me of my relationship with my distant cousin (on Ah Jin side); there is care there, a little bit of love due to a blood bond (that family connection), we argue, we have fun, we fight, we make up, we sometimes lie to each other then apologize for it and it can sometimes be beneficial on one side etc. but the moment you truly need the other, need their support and trust they betray it and break you , everything they shared goes out the window and then one of them gets extremely hurt. To me, the way Ah Yin felt towards Ah Jin, was pure and true. Although they both done things for each other, Ah Yin did more. She could’ve forgave him but I wish they wouldn’t have put them together. This was definitely a heartbreaking scene, still gets me especially when she is calling her love and herself a “joke”. What really had me irritated was the fact that the scheming “SFL” received no punishment, Ah Yin was basically tortured and she got nothing that even compared Ah Yin.

It's more they just copy and paste, similar events for basically every one of these type of shows. Rarely if ever do they ever change the formula, it would have made for more interesting show. When you can't predict what's gonna happen next.
