  • Imam Al Tirmidhi affirmed Allah’s hand, hearing and seeing all in the same manner unlike the asharis who make a distinction between them. He also mentioned that the jahmiyya rejected these narrations by saying Allah’s hand means power, which is ironically what the asharis do.

      Imaam at-Tirmidhee (d. 279H) said, “It has been stated by more than one person from the People of Knowledge about such ahaadeeth, **that there is no tashbeeh (resemblance) to the Attributes of Allaah, and our Lord, the Blessed and Most High, descends to the lowest heaven every night. So they say, ‘Affirm these narrations, have eernaan (faith) in them, do not deny them, nor ask how.’**
      The likes of this has been related from Maalik ibn Anas, Sufyaan ath-Thawree, Ibn ‘Uyainah and ‘Abdullaah ibn al-Mubaarak, who all said about such ahaadeeth, ‘Leave them as they are, without asking how.’ Such is the saying of the People of Knowledge from the Ahlus-Sunnah walJamaa’ah.
      **However, the Jahmiyyah oppose these narrations and say, ‘This is tashbeeh!’ However, Allaah the Most High, has mentioned in various places in His Book, the Attribute of al-Yad (Hand), as-Sam’ (Hearing), and al-Basr (Seeing), but the Jahmiyyah make ta’weel of these aayaat, explaining them in a way other than how they are explained by the People of Knowledge. They (the Jahmiyyah) say, ‘Indeed, Allaah did not create Aadam with His own Hand,’ they say that Hand means the Power of Allaah.”** 138 - Sunan at-Tirmidhee, 3/24

      Ayat for Asharis: Qur'an 16 : 74 - So put not forward similitudes for Allah (Like Asharis on Siffat Qabrriya - don't assume resemblance). Truly! Allah knows and you know not. (Leave how / Takyif to Allah - don't Tahrif / reinterpret Allah's Attributes)
      Qur'an 7 : 33 - Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawahish (great evil sins and every kind of lewdness) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given *no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge."*
      (Don't speak on Allah's attributes with out texts or no Tahrif / Distortion)
      Qur'an 2 : 25 - ... Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates) and they will abide therein forever.
      Tafsir Ibn Kathir : Ibn `Abbas said, "Nothing in Paradise resembles anything in the life of this world, except in name.''
      Qur'an 16 : 60 - For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
      - Links Allah's High description with the belief in hereafter, Jahmi Asharis tatil/denial of affirming Allah's High Descriptions seems linked to their denying seeing Allah which is in the hereafter - Qur'an 75 : 22!
      ~~~
      lmaam Ahmad (d. 241 ] said, “These ahaadeeth should he left as they are ... ‘We affirm them and we do not make any similitude for them. This is what has been agreed upon by the scholars.” 136 - 136 Reported by Ibn al-Jawzee in Manaaqib lmaam Ahmad, pp. 155-156.
      ~~~
      Abul-Hasan al-Ash’aree (d. 324H) said, “If it is said, ‘Why do you deny that His saying: “Do they not see that We have created for them what Our Own Hands have created.” 164
      And His saying:
      “Whom I have created with My Own (Two) Hands.” 165 are rnajaaz (metaphorical)?’
      To him it is said, ‘The ruling concerning the Speech of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is that it is taken upon its dhaahir (apparent) and haqeeqah (real) meaning. Nothing is removed from its dhaahir (apparent) meaning to majaaz (a metaphorical) one, except with a proof ...
      Likewise, the saying of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic:
      “Whom I have created with My Own (Two) Hands.” 166
      Its dhaahir and haqeeqah meaning is affirming Yadain (two Hands of Allaah). So it is not permissible to alter it from the dhaahir meaning of Yadain to that which our opponents claim, except with a proof ... Consequently, about His saying: “Whom I have created with My Own (Two) Hands.” 167
      It is obligatory to affirm two Hands for Allaah, the Most High, in
      its haqeeqah (real) meaning, not with the meaning of ni’matayn
      (two bounties of Allaah).” 168
      168 Al-Ibaanah ‘an Usoolid-Diyaanah, p. 133. The ascription of this book
      to Abul-Hasan al-Ash’aree, and that it was his ‘final book concerning
      ‘aqeedah, has been testified to by a number of Scholars, from them, al-
      Haafidh Ibn ‘Asaakir in Tabyeenul - Kadhabul - Muftaree, p. 152, al-
      Bayhaqee in Al-I’tiqaad, p. 31, Imaam adh-Dhahabee in Al-Uluww, no.

    Imam Al-Tirmidhi then says:
    This Hadeeth is Hasan Saheeh
    It has been reported from Aishah from the Prophet ﷺ similarly. More than one of the people of knowledge have spoken about this hadith, and the narrations that resemble it about the Attributes and the Descent of the Lord, Blessed and Most High, every night to the lowest heaven.
    They said: “The narrations about these are affirmed and should be believed in without misinterpreting them nor saying ‘how’. It has been reported like this from Malik (ibn Anas), Sufyan bin Uyainah, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak; they would say about these Ahadith: they are conveyed without saying how. This is the view of the people of knowledge among Ahl As-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah.
    And in other places in His Book, Allah, Blessed and Most High is He, has mentioned the Hand, the Hearing, the Seeing, so the Jahmiyyah misinterpret these Ayat and give them interpretations other than the interpretations of the people of knowledge. They say that Allah did not create Adam with His Hand, and they say the meaning of Hand is merely power.
    Ishaq bin Ibrahim (Ishaq ibn Rahwayh) said: At-Tashbih is only when one says ‘Hand; like a hand or similar to a hand’ or ‘Hearing; like hearing or similar to hearing’ then this is the Tashbih. As for when one says as Allah (Most High) said, Hand, Hearing, Seeing, and he does not say ‘how’ nor say ‘similar to hearing’ nor ‘like hearing’ then this is not Tashbih. It is merely as Allah, Blessed and Most High is He, said: ‘There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.’ [Surah Ash Shura 42:11]

      @Faiaz Malekzadeh You assume that hand means he has a physical limb and a body, rather this is from the howness if the attributes that we do not know.
      Rather the hand is a hand and we don't know the modality of it, and we leave that to Allah.
      We say all of his attributes are not like our attributes, meaning we don't do tashbeeh.
      What you are saying necessitates that Allah just sent us letters with no meaning, even though the quran is a guidance to be pondered on, not random letters with no meaning.

      The problem is by affirming the hand (without modality) still leads to a corporeal conception in the mind.
      Then you end up praying to this conception which is certainly not Allāh.

      @@LowlierThanThowThe problem of not affirming Allah's hand is that you're concerned more about your intellect and its adherence than your adherence to the Salaf.
