    What hp is needed to run that saw? Steam show i go to has one. Love watching the steam traction engines power them.

      75 to 100 hp in a gasoline engine. It would take a lot less steam HP to run it. I would think 70HP steam would run it easy. Steam has way more torque than gasoline engines.

      I should have used it. The Case didn't have enough power on its own.

    Dangerous looking saw, it's not always power the problem, it's the wright speed of the saw, it looks like its not running straight, be careful.
