I tried deep sea fishing once...cannot beat fishing from the jetty or beach...somehow it's just like reeling in a dead weight.

It is much farther out… about 10h from the Sarawak river mouth

10 hours from the mouth of the Sarawak River...that could be 370 kms from the mouth!
(assuming 20 knots).
