I have Big Discoveries, Discovering Animals, and Discovering Vehicles at the Garage on VHS. And I can tell Discovering Seasons is so rare and hard to find on VHS!
Volumes 5-10, 12, and 13 aren't easy to get on VHS, I think because more people bought the DVD compilations by FHE, or Mattel didn't package them with that many Little People toys/playsets. Volumes 1-4 and 11 are much easier to find on the format. I do have VHS copies of Volume 7 "Discovering Creativity", and Volume 10 "Discovering Numbers", though.
@@WillCWilson Yeah, they're so rare. And you know what's interesting about those volumes? The original VHS releases use the old Little People logo while the DVD versions plaster them with a new one.
@@blakesmith2003 I thought that was just the case with the first 3 volumes... you're telling me they replaced them with the later Logo when they were all released on DVD?? Well... that would explain why the Spanish versions have the original Little People logo with just text on it, instead of the "Michael, Sonya and Eddie" logo.
@@blakesmith2003 BTW, I've recently uploaded multiple different versions of the Little People intros, in English, French and Spanish, as well as a video comparing the 1999 and 2004/05 intros.
I used to have the 2000 print of "Christmas Discoveries". However, one day, after the tape finished playing, it started rewinding itself, my VCR started making weird noises, and the tape came out completely ruined. I was very upset that day. It wouldn't be until years later I got another VHS copy of it [the 2002 reprint], and I still had the old box and tape of my broken copy, so I swapped tapes. I put the 2002 rerelease tape into the original 2000 box, and that's how I've kept it ever since.
