I have an older Craftsman plug into the lighter socket unit and my rule of thumb with it is when the gauge reads 1.5 pounds over where you want to be it's correct reading

I just bought one of these to inflate my car tires at home, and there’s no explanation of the four small adapters that were included, and how to use them. Do I have to add one of those to the hose to connect it to the car tire, or do I just use the connector that’s already on the hose, as is? I’ve never seen a connector that has a lever like this that you close down. I’m just used to screwing on the connector to the tire directly with other inflators.
