    Simply Amazing...I have completed the whole series and It is very valuable work for anyone who is interested to see the invisible roots of daily life and latent phenomenons in it. Bram’s candid approach and vigilant eyes make people nothing but more willing to demonstrate themself transparently. It also has very artistic frame and touch in every sequence making the process more joyfull for the audiences. Thanks for creating such a beatifull content. I will surely keep watching the channel afterwards

Well done well done.

    I finished your all documentary yet and I didn't bored when i watch. Objective thinks and you searching what thinking the Turkish people about for live, religion and all. How ever if i can't understand to Dutch language but I think your opinion is well. I agree to young girl in this part little bit funny but right. She telling what you searching about our religion and our hair, scarf? So i can say just a question. Too many people answered to this question but not include you. What's a modern Islam for you?

    Great work! It was nice to see Turkey from a foreigners perspective. You tried hard to remain neutral while questioning the very fabric of this country. I only have one issue; English subtitles are appearing on the top of the screen making it impossible to watch sometimes, especially on mobile.
    A great documentary nevertheless. Keep up the good work.

      This problem with the subtitles is something we are looking into. We unfortunately cannot fix it for now, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
      Your review is good to read. So, we didn't do too bad, for foreigners? haha!
      We also have the series Along the borders of Turkey on this channel, maybe you will like it too?

    Allow me to try to understand the mindset of Muslims, whether they're Turks or not. He/she is, at a young age went through the process of Tawheed i.e recognizing the attributes of the Almighty before being taught worship, rituals etc . Granted, there also those who missed this part and are either superficial in their Tawheed or follow blindly. But, in this age of the resurgence of Islam everywhere, their numbers are decreasing, so too are those with secular lifestyle you see in your video. And talking about ' modern Islam ', Islam is , like the bridegroom said, timeless. It's unammendable, otherwise , in tampering with it, we are implying that we're wiser than our Creator! Furthermore, none of the rules are unimplementable , whether it is the five times prayers, praying for a month, covering up etc etc. So, there's no need to ' .odernize ' Islam. In fact, many of today's ills and troubles leave mankind clueless as to the solutions needed. Islam offers the solution but will not, contrary to Islam bashers' claims, impose it on non Muslims. That's it for the time being. I hope I have been of a little help and keep up the good work.

    You have interesting programs, not like other programs.
    Someone who can explain a little about what makes muslims want to live in secular Europe? I understand the job situation, but why not stay in Turkey? Seems like religion is very important, and in Turkey this is part of the society and throughout the culture, just as they like?
    Now I shall watch the rest of the program - maybe I get some answers?

    • @turgutylcnky487
      @turgutylcnky487 6 лет назад

      Late answer but anyways... Actually, you will see almost everyone has different approach to religion. Just like the women dancing in the night club, one can feel it is perfectly fine to live westerners' life as a Muslim. And for conservative Muslims, they don't believe it is important where you live. It is even better to live in a western city if you continue being religious because you will serve to spreading the message this way. In any case, there is no religious reason to avoid Europe. Some people think the external motivation to commit sins would be higher but as you can see Turkey is not very different.
