- Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, on Thursday (24 Aug) told the Security Council that “some estimates put the total number of killed, civilians and military personnel of both sides, at half a million.”
Briefing the Council during a meeting on the Maintenance of Peace and Security in Ukraine, DiCarlo said, “The numbers alone tell a horrific story: OHCHR has confirmed at least 9,444 civilians, including 545 children, killed. Nearly 17,000 others, among them 1,156 children, have been injured. The real figures are likely much higher.”
The Under-Secretary-General reiterated, “As we warned during the Security Council meetings on 21 and 26 July, attacks targeting grain facilities may have far-reaching global consequences. They threaten to reverse the progress made in bolstering food security over the past year.”
DiCarlo stressed, “This could be catastrophic for the 345 million people already acutely food insecure around the world.”
She also noted, “Another recent UN assessment on the impact of the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam concluded that the breach caused a far-reaching environmental disaster, the scale of which might not be clear for decades to come.”
According to DiCarlo’s statement, the United Nations has verified 173 cases of conflict-related sexual violence against 112 men, 57 women, and four girls.
She said, “The Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine has said that such incidents of sexual violence may amount to war crimes.”
Wars will only bring more killing, destruction and hatred to our world. Conflicts can only be settled through dialogue. I call on Russia and Ukraine to refer to the voice of reason, and I call on world leaders and international institutions to support peaceful solutions between the two neighbors.

Agreed. War is a money maker, and the UN still has to change who is running a few more countries and get that one world financial system complete. So don't think for a minute they are thinking about peace.
If they were worried about feeding the world, they wouldn't be having farmers tearing up their harvest, getting rid of cows and attacking farmers while billionaires buy up the farm land to grow fake food. If you don't understand who and what the UN truly is, you will continue following along blindly.
The world governments could have feed the world over hundreds of times. They will end up controlling everyone and everything....just so people can continue to fake being safe.
The majority of the world 's population has no idea what is coming even though the powers that be are not hiding it..they are putting it right in our face.

في إطار مراجعة سلامة تصريف المياه، يوجد فريق الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في الموقع لرصد التصريف وتقييم تطبيق اليابان لجميع معايير السلامة الدولية ذات الصلة.
رافائيل غروسي المدير العام للوكالة قال إن الخبراء موجودون على الأرض ليكونوا بمثابة عين المجتمع الدولي لضمان تنفيذ عملية التصريف بالشكل المخطط له بما يتوافق مع معايير السلامة الخاصة بالوكالة. وأضاف أن وجود الوكالة يسهم في توليد الثقة بأن العملية تتم بطريقة آمنة وشفافة. وكخطوة إضافية في عملية الرصد، أخذ خبراء الوكالة هذا الأسبوع عينات من الدفعة الأولى من المياه المخففة المعدة للتصريف بعد إعلان الحكومة اليابانية في 22 آب/أغسطس أن العملية ستبدأ اليوم
