The girl who became her friend at the end was the blue eyed girl she admired at the beginning right??? If so that was really adorable! If not, you’re still super underrated, this was amazing!
The line “I’ve been starving myself, carving skin until my bones are showing” for some reason just strikes a cord in me. It reminds me of collapsing on the floor in my bathroom at 3 am sobbing because i despise the way I look. In high school I’d starve myself in hopes of getting skinnier, clouded by what I’m told is the standard beauty expectation.

One of my favorite songs by beach bunny turned into a masterpiece of sadness, insecurity, but most importantly, happiness.
I went through a period of starving myself because I felt insecure about my body and was also very depressed at the time for various reasons. I wanted to be pretty and I thought the only way was to be skinny. After a while the pain got worse and so I talked to my friend about it and she helped me out of that ditch. I'm still recovering with her help and I am very thankful for her help.

What if my voice, personality, and looks all seriously suck? My nose is cricked, I have acne, my face shape is wonky, my stomach is too fat, my voice sounds like a baby’s, I don’t know what to do anymore. Long story to get this outta my mind cause I'm sick and i can't see my Counselor. Read if you want tho I'm not stopping ya
I think of myself this way I've never herd this song before but it speaks to me. Ive starved myself for a day I only ate a few blueberries early that morning but for the rest of the day it was just water and suffering... I'm getting help now and making a slow recovery. Going from 87 pounds (I'm 13) to 119. I know this is tmi but I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL /HANDSOME!!! So do NOT do what I did and get the help early before something bad happens. If I didn't eat a little bit more the next morning I would have died from starvation.
The docter part hit me hard idk why, I feel like my docters are always judging me and making me feel bad and making me feel fat, I didnt think this woyld trigger anything, but now I'm crying.
