I have a female Eclectus. She's generally quiet but may squawk before I leave for work and between 6 to 7 pm. If she does it a lot I just cover her. At first it was unnerving but not I try to disregard it.
Great video! I'm interested in owning an eclectus and live in a condo. I read that the eclectus is not particularly loud. And squack from time to time. Would love to hear your experience. Thanks
Do as much research as you can find on these birds Jayne before you commit to one. They are quiet, can be standoffish, will usually only bond with one person, can be nervous. When they want to be loud, it is loud. Diet is different to most other parrots because they have a longer digestive tract. Some females can have life threatening reproductive problems. Need lots to keep them entertained and busy etc. Oh, and if you don't read the body language right, you will get bitten, lol. Some of mine went to the bone!

Beautiful girl you have there. She looks uncomfortable outside though, bit fluffed up.
