I can't really remember how many views this one had, though, but he's had multiple Vlives with over 20M views. Yeah, people often get carried away with the hair colors of the flashier members, especially in things like fanedits and promotional videos and are basically geared towards people who want to see thirst-traps. Jungkook also doesn't flirt as much and he is quite introverted, so he never does anything to explicitly draw attention to himself - he doesn't wink, lip-bite, do crazy onstage antics, growl etc - but he still effortlessly draws attention like a magnet.

I was lucky enough to catch this one live!!!!!! I THINK there were over 18 Million watching by the end of it. Grammys are in Vegas this year. It was postponed and switched to Vegas from LA. It's been there once before and it's also been in NY. The overflow is 100% at the MGM Grand where the Grammys are being held.

So the entire Grammy arena will just be extra space for BTS' stadium concert.
This is just one of the two VLives that he did that was basically a concert. He did them fairly close together, too. This cut out a lot of the songs he sang. He sang several BTS songs after Euphoria. In both of the lives, he sang whatever ARMY requested, unless he'd already sung it. The first VLive including things like the Coca Cola commercial that he sang for and the BTS World app game OST, Heartbeat. Basically songs that we either have never heard him sing live before and some that BTS has either never performed or haven't performed in years. The fact that he let ARMY choose what he should sing made it all the more special. I will watch them live if I'm up, but I'll go back and watch them when the English subtitles have been added, too. I was there for this VLive!! I think it was 10 million watching before he ended it. It was in the middle of the day East Coast time because it was midnight or 1 am KST. A lot of their VLives are late at night KST. And there are always more when they are touring for concerts. They did a lot of great ones for LA so hopefully, there will be more for Vegas.

Army had been asking for Paradise, for soooo long, but didn't realize they have a korean title for it??? so likely why he didn't recognize it as one of their songs. AND I love their song Heartbeat!! Grammy's is being held in Las Vegas this year, and they are having their Live play at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, that's their overflow. You know it will sell out too. I'm going to be at the concert on the 16th, and I thought I would try to get tickets to the Live Play at the ARENA. Apparently, you can get special merch at the Live Play. lol korea has very strict and outdated opinions about weed so thats probably why. if the public finds out a celebrity smokes it, it can end their whole career also: vlive and weverse are different apps/sites just in case there was any confusion there. bts was one of the first groups to launch vlive back in 2015 and basically blew it up, but i think hybe wanted their own content platform that they had more control over so they made weverse. now there are a lot of artists on weverse, not even just kpop artists, the only thing is that weverse doesn't have the capacity to stream yet so they still have to use vlive for that sole reason
As of a few days ago Vlive is now part of Weverse (the company, not the platform). They will eventually combine into one shiny new platform but they still operate separately for now.
Vlive is a company owned by mnet (one of the biggest broadcasters in Korea) is started in 2015 and kpop idols as well as all other sorts of entertainers from Korea use it. On there, idols go live regularly to talk to fans but also a lot of groups have series they put on there. BTS had Run BTS and Bon Voyage that helped them gain a large fan base when they weren't being recognised by TV stations. BigHit doesn't own Vlive. BigHit created Weverse in 2019 (I think you got confused with this). It is a platform where all of BTS's series, such as Bon Voyage and Run BTS, can be found along with weverse exclusive ones such as In The Soop. There is a forum section where fans can post stuff and talk to each other and the members will interact with these fans as well as post their own stuff regularly. There isn't a go-live feature so BTS still use vlive for that. Weverse has also started to be used by loads of other groups. You should definitely check bother platforms out! Vlive is now part of Weverse (the company, not the platform) so Hybe does sort of own Vlive. Naver now has a 49% share of the Weverse Company as a result of the deal, though. Naver officially transferred Vlive to Weverse just a few days ago. Both platforms will continue to operate as is for now but eventually the functions of both platforms will merge into one shiny new platform.

this one was such a long live! was very happy to watch it real time. he did so many songs, and we realized also. Army had been asking for Paradise, for soooo long, but didn't realize they have a korean title for it??? so likely why he didn't recognize it as one of their songs. AND I love their song Heartbeat!! And he had forgotten about it completely, because it's from their BTS World mobile game OST, it's one of my faves. and he completely did not remember it until it started playing.

Grammy's is being held in Las Vegas this year, and they are having their Live play at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, that's their overflow. You know it will sell out too. I'm going to be at the concert on the 16th, and I thought I would try to get tickets to the Live Play at the ARENA. Apparently, you can get special merch at the Live Play. So I can hang with other ARMY's, watch the concert, and get special merch. What's not to like about that 🥰💜 If you guys are going to the concert on the 16th, I hope I get to meet you. I will be there with my husband. We have seats in section 140, Row 8. Those are pretty good seats.
Anyway, I love watching VLives, and the last one I caught was SUGA on March 1, 2022. They do talk to their fans, they answer questions as they see them scroll. Jungkook's V Live had over 18 million views.

vlive was owned by NAVER (Korea's Google). And all Idols and other celebs like actors also have their own channel to broadcast from. BTS started out on it creating their own content because they didn't have the power to push them on other broadcasting networks. ... BH started putting more content on Weverse (probably because Naver started putting ads on vlive and was profitting off of their artists, and they didn't have control over the money.). ... years later, Hybe has now aquired vlive, but the transition is still in progress.

also: vlive and weverse are different apps/sites just in case there was any confusion there. bts was one of the first groups to launch vlive back in 2015 and basically blew it up, but i think hybe wanted their own content platform that they had more control over so they made weverse. now there are a lot of artists on weverse, not even just kpop artists, the only thing is that weverse doesn't have the capacity to stream yet so they still have to use vlive for that sole reason
As of a few days ago Vlive is now part of Weverse (the company, not the platform). They will eventually combine into one shiny new platform but they still operate separately for now.

Vlive is a company owned by mnet (one of the biggest broadcasters in Korea) is started in 2015 and kpop idols as well as all other sorts of entertainers from Korea use it. On there, idols go live regularly to talk to fans but also a lot of groups have series they put on there. BTS had Run BTS and Bon Voyage that helped them gain a large fan base when they weren't being recognised by TV stations. BigHit doesn't own Vlive.
BigHit created Weverse in 2019 (I think you got confused with this). It is a platform where all of BTS's series, such as Bon Voyage and Run BTS, can be found along with weverse exclusive ones such as In The Soop. There is a forum section where fans can post stuff and talk to each other and the members will interact with these fans as well as post their own stuff regularly. There isn't a go-live feature so BTS still use vlive for that. Weverse has also started to be used by loads of other groups.

Vlive is now part of Weverse (the company, not the platform) so Hybe does sort of own Vlive. Naver now has a 49% share of the Weverse Company as a result of the deal, though. Naver officially transferred Vlive to Weverse just a few days ago. Both platforms will continue to operate as is for now but eventually the functions of both platforms will merge into one shiny new platform.
