Australian here. Can confirm we routinely got kangaroos in the yard in my childhood in the outback. But I also lose my mind when I see squirrels in North America 😂
I love traveling vicariously through the Brauns!💖 I've always loved traveling & I'm so grateful to have amazing experiences & memories, but I got sick in 2015 (I was 37) & the virus kicked in an autoimmune response that attacked my central nervous system. I would never have thought anything like that could or would have ever happened to me. I'm now completely disabled & traveling is extremely challenging. So thank you Tyler (& Jess) for taking us along with you & your lovely family on your awesome travel/life adventures. I appreciate it more than words can express.🙏 As avid travelers, I know Tyler & Jess & a lot of their viewers get this, but please let this serve as a gentle reminder to get out & see/do something new. I've never regretted 1 single day of my travels or any of my various active exploring adventures (hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, snowmobiling, etc.). I do, however, regret not doing that more when I physically could.
I too grew up with a tooth pillow with a small pocket sewn on front, it was heart shaped and my mom sewn me and my sister one. Looking back now it made it so much easier for my mom to take the tooth and put the money inside, rather than having to put your arm under your sleeping child’s pillow. That pink pillow is so adorable.😊
I’ve lived in Northwest Florida nearly my entire life and I still freak out when I see a dolphin 😂 It’s always exciting. Destin is insanely beautiful. One of my favorite places. Looks like you came down at a chilly time for Florida beaches, but glad you had fun nonetheless! The views never get old.
I live in Barbados so for us, it's monkeys in the backyard. And if we go to the beach then it's turtles. Gigi looked so precious in her white dress with pink flowers on it! ❤
I love watching your travel videos and always both of you together. Always make me laugh 🤣 but in this video listening to the music and watching the tides coming into the shore was just AWESOME!! Pure meditative bliss...loved it!! Thank you for sharing 😊
Destin is definitely my next destination for beaches. We love surfside SC and Nags head but its time to go see that blue water again. :-) Last time I was in OBX there was a freaking hurricane and the beach was frightenly lapping at the steps of our house almost the whole week. Not to mention my grown son who thinks he is a Navy seal or something and kept swimming in the damned ocean. I just knew we were going to be that family that ended up on the evening news. Thankfully he learned his lesson real quick after about three minutes trying to wade out past the break and feeling that rip tide already wanting to suck him in!
This whole series took 👏 me 👏 back 👏 Watercolor, Seaside, Destin, Harborwalk Village, Baytowne, the nights I have spent at AJs! 🙌 Idk if yall saw Rosemary Beach, but another super quaint/white building town. It's all where I grew up. And it really looks the same as where I left it almost 10 years ago. Such good memories. Love that you guys experienced SO MUCH of that area in such a short time period and really soaked it all in with the babies ❤❤ Off-season is the time to go, when it's not PACKED. I feel like you can enjoy it way more. This vlog gave me so many good feels and memories!
We have amazing wildlife where I live (NZ) - the native birds are beautiful (and/or amusing), we get stingrays coming up to the water's edge on the city waterfront, dolphins, orcas (AKA killer whales), even the occasional humpback in the distance. Little Blue Penguins end up wandering in to the CBD as well. However, I happen to have a lot of relatives in South Africa who nonchalantly deal with monkeys in their garden etc. They really enjoy teasing the dog by reaching down and pulling his tail then running away. We also once got a video of a BLACK MAMBA in the kitchen of a rural holiday villa. When we visited and went to my godmother's villa in the savannas, there were a lot of baboons around that would wake us up at dawn.
hahah, I'm Australian and I was thinking that our equivalent to the dear or dolphin is the Kangaroo. Obviously you only really see them outside of the cities but when I lived in the country, we had them on our property every day. I don't think I'll ever get used to it, it always feels special to see a kangaroo. The other Australian on is the Wombat. You mostly see them dead on the side of the road unfortunately but when you see a live one it's very special. Oh, and Echidna, we can't forget them! You guys need to come here!
I currently live in South Carolina but I'm originally from the St. Louis area, so also a Midwesterner. When I saw my first alligator just out and about it blew my mind! Dolphins as well, though I now see them pretty much anytime I'm on the coast. We also have a lot of deer.
The doughnut my family is obsessed with from the donut hole is, I think, called the angel kiss, kinda looks like that strawberry one but with white frosting. That place is so good!
I've lived in Puget Sound (Seattle area) for 12 years. ALWAYS excited to see seals and sea lions, even though I've completely lost count of how many I've seen.
I'm a Canadian living in New Zealand and mentioned to some friends that my brother was trapping and tagging wolverines (he works for a nature conservation ngo). More than one person truly believed that wolverines were a made-up animal and were shocked when I showed them a picture of him holding one and how big they are. New Zealand has no real native land mammals, so people here are always surprised when I tell all my wildlife encounter stories. (P.S. I've been to Australia and seen those kangaroos that just hang out in the wild - it is pretty cool!)
If y’all go back Stewbys is a MUST! Literally the best. All the locals told us to go there. We would get the shrimp salad by the pound. It was so good!! It’s on ft walton side. And there is an ice cream shop next door. The ice cream is called “the best ice cream” or something like that. It’s so good!
My husband was a chef for 20+ years and the way he has always done bacon at work and home is in the oven. So much easier and less messy, especially when timing it with the other items that are being served.
The strap Tyler is wearing while talking about being gift shopped out is the exact pattern of my episcopal elementary school’s mandatory uniform skirts lol
Love your videos!! There was a Cheeseburger in Paradise at 103 off 65 in Indy, it closed a couple years ago. We would always stop there on our way through from GA to MI.
Iv really cut down on my social media intake . But love your videos , interesting wholesome fun .. I love to watch you pair venture life xx Thanks for sharing
I’ve lived in Florida over 20 years and still get excited when I see dolphins! Did anyone else notice the date of April 13 in the beginning of the video? Messed me up, I was like they’ve been there HOW long?!?! 😂😂
We have wild peacocks where im from in Southern California. I still get excited, especially after moving away to the desert of las vegas, nv for 5 years ! But i had some out of state friends visit who lost their minds at “wild” peacocks😂
The first dolphin I saw was in the early morning when they came closer to shore to feed. I must have woken up people all over with my screaming in excitement. Mom came running, and I showed her. She first asked if it was a dolphins or sharks? I said, " Duh, look at the fins. I have at least 15 very expensive dolphin statues or figurines that you bought. " We didn't even film it because we were so excited. It was beautiful and amazing and awesome and fantastic... 😆 It's so neat to watch them do that. I love dolphins. One day, I will swim with them.❤ I lived in Florida for 9 years and now we go visit and it never gets old.
I hope you found some great things in the Disney outlet. We buy most of our Mikey ears in Disney outlets, and they are gorgeous. We always find something cool every time we go. I’ve been loving your videos of this vacation. I definitely need to plan a mini vacation there.
Too funny. Yes we have hundreds of kangaroos in my area.. they graze on the grass out the front at night time. I saw the dolphins! That was cool 🎉 cheers from Australia 😊
I feel like there is a Margaritaville at the Hard Rock Casino In Cincinnati. There also used to be a Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant in Cincinnati but it has closed.
I live in North Florida and I see deer in my yard every night, lol.. also possum, foxes, armadillo's, wild turkys , peacocks, and more recently in the last year, coyote's( ugh). oh and of course tons of squirrels in my big oak tree..
Last time we were in Destin was 1994. Long time ago. But one thing I remember most was that there were a lot of outlet stores. As a matter of fact, our condo wasn't far from an outlet mall. So cool to see the dolphins. When I cook bacon on the stove I take dish towels and cover as much of the stove top as I can to make less of a grease splatter mess. Hate that. Watching the Gulf waves at the end relaxed me so much I felt like I needed a nap. 😊 I thought for sure Gigi was falling asleep in the car at one point.
Deer is definitely equivalent to seeing a dolphin here in Florida 😂 Im from south Florida & when i go visit central Florida i see a deer & i have the same reaction as tyler when he seen the dolphins 😂💜
First of all I’ve been watching you guys as a family for awhile and I have to say you are such an inspiration to me for how you travel with two little ones. I definitely would have benefit more when my kids were smaller, however you are still my inspiration. Secondly how on earth do you guys stay so fit with all the wonderful delicious foods that you eat? Do you eat better when you’re home and just go nuts when you travel? But it seems like you guys are traveling all the time. What is your secret? 😅
When I was doing my makeup this morning I found myself thinking, “this eyeshadow look is very Jessica”. Then when she was talking in the car about putting makeup on, I looked at her eyeshadow and thought, “I guess there was a memo. I’m just gonna act like I got it, when really I just got lucky.”
Id be in and out of target quickly too if my cart sounded like that ! Normally they are so smooth you forget you’re in there and magically your cart is full and your wallet is empty 😂
Wait, did you guys get the coffee mug? And if so, Jessica didn't use them the next day. Reminded me of the WDW vlog where Tyler had the realization that you guys should buy your mugs on the first day and then use them during the trip to create a memory associated with the mug. Also, the equivalent of deer in your town would be peacocks where I live. Don't ask me why or how they got there because I always wonder that too haha
I would say not all Floridians see dolphins daily unless they're chillin on the beach all the time. I still get excited for dolphns and manatees even though I grew up here. I think the equivalent is seeing gators. I tell first time visitors to assume every body of water has gators in it. 🐊
ok here's a tip: I cook bacon on a george foreman grill right next to my bed. I like to wake up to the smell of bacon. sue me. Just watch out not to step on it!
I don’t have children, but I appreciate the way you approach discussing the tooth fairy, Easter bunny, etc in your vlogs.
Australian here. Can confirm we routinely got kangaroos in the yard in my childhood in the outback. But I also lose my mind when I see squirrels in North America 😂
This family is so fun they make it enjoyable not only for their kids but for themselves too 😊
Tyler's face and excitement seeing the dolphins was priceless. I'd 100% have the same reaction 😅
I love traveling vicariously through the Brauns!💖

If y’all ever go back, go get at McGuire’s ☘️ It’s my favorite restaurant in Destin. It’s across the street from Harborwalk.
I grew up and Florida and still happy and amazed to see dolphins in the wild.
I too grew up with a tooth pillow with a small pocket sewn on front, it was heart shaped and my mom sewn me and my sister one. Yeah I’m Australian and can confirm that I would freak out seeing a deer but kangaroos are pretty commonplace but I’m always happy to see them
I’ve lived in south FL for 26 of my 30 years. It’s always exciting to see dolphins 🥰
I love the invention of drone photography. It’s always stunning.
I love watching your travel videos and always both of you together. Always make me laugh 🤣 but in this video listening to the music and watching the tides coming into the shore was just AWESOME!! Pure meditative bliss...loved it!! Thank you for sharing 😊

I just love y'all! 💖 Thank you so much for having dinner with us! We had the best time, and can't wait to do it again soon!! ✨️
Gigi’s face when Jessica asked if she could use her crayons 😂
Absolutely stunning 🤯! Your talent for storytelling really shines through in this video.

Can we get a makeup tutorial for everything worn in the 3:30 look? So glowy and pretty. ❤
New subscriber here. I enjoy watching vlogs, especially that include organizing or shopping. Thanks for providing positive content!

Just what I needed on a Saturday afternoon!💜

The Donut Hold!!! Yummeaux!
I know where you were! Been there, done that!!❤❤❤

Dolphins!!!! Also I'm loving Tyler's sweater! It looks so cozy
Drinking coffee in the SAME mug that you picked out. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Jazz Club :)
Also... literally laughed out loud at the "7D's" remark. Haha... I agree... that's too many D's.
I NEED gigis printed outfit for adults, it was soooo cute and she looked sooo lovely 🥺🥺❤️❤️🤌🏻🤌🏻❤️❤️
Love when you take us along on your adventures ❤❤❤
The strap Tyler is wearing while talking about being gift shopped out is the exact pattern of my episcopal elementary school’s mandatory uniform skirts lol
I’m from Alabama and go to Destin so many times a year, I loved seeing y’all vlog it❤️
Love your videos!! There was a Cheeseburger in Paradise at 103 off 65 in Indy, it closed a couple years ago. We would always stop there on our way through from GA to MI.

Love your vlogs and love that in your tops you looked like a lemon and lime 🥰
I unexpectedly lost it when Tyler said “the DoNuT HoOoole 😮”
Ok, Tyler's dolphin excitement I related to so much!
I’ve lived in Florida over 20 years and still get excited when I see dolphins! Did anyone else notice the date of April 13 in the beginning of the video? Messed me up, I was like they’ve been there HOW long?!?! 😂😂
Love, Love, love The Donut Hole...Their cheese danish is soooo good!
We have wild peacocks where im from in Southern California. I still get excited, especially after moving away to the desert of las vegas, nv for 5 years ! But i had some out of state friends visit who lost their minds at “wild” peacocks😂
There's a Disney outlet store?!?! That's awesome! Question: where did you buy Gigi's white floral dress? That dress is beautiful!
Tyler’s reaction to spotting dolphins is 100% what I would do 😂
Also, do we think Tyler play the piano bits at the end?? Just curious.
Always gone to destin, seaside, 30a beaches ever since I was little so seeing y’all there and experiencing it makes me so happt
8:49 can we get a link to your gorgeous sunglasses 🤩
I live in the Pacific Northwest where you can drive along the coast and see whales and sea lions on one side and elk on the other side.
The first dolphin I saw was in the early morning when they came closer to shore to feed. I must have woken up people all over with my screaming in excitement. Mom came running, and I showed her. There used to be a Margaritaville on the South Side of Indy!

Another Delightful Vlog. Thanks for sharing.
Tyler yells DOLPHIN and the dolphin behind him is giving the side eye -Lol
Beautiful guys! thanks for showing us!
Gigi in that dress and crown, so cute! She looked like a big girl 😍
Tyler... Florida has deer too. Anywhere away from the coast you see them all the time.
Well I live in south Florida, and I can say I’ve seen more alligators than dolphins. ❤️
😂 true or Iguanas and lizards.
Yup hahahaha 😆
I live in North Florida and I see deer in my yard every night, lol.. also possum, foxes, armadillo's, wild turkys , peacocks, and more recently in the last year, coyote's( ugh). oh and of course tons of squirrels in my big oak tree..

Try a splatter screen, game changer
Love these vlogs! Would you guys be willing to share the Airbnb? I’d love to stay there or somewhere near it in Destin!
I live in NE FL and we see deer more than dolphins lol, great family vlog!
Too many Ds! This random humor is why I love Tyler
I'm surprised y'all stopped for coffee.
Going to Destin soon can’t wait!! We love to eat at Dewy Destins
Love the drone footage! A++++
i was jamming to ice ice baby in the background for a short portion of ur blog 🎶😁
Deer is definitely equivalent to seeing a dolphin here in Florida 😂
Im from south Florida & when i go visit central Florida i see a deer & i have the same reaction as tyler when he seen the dolphins 😂💜
I'm a Floridian. I have never hit a deer... but I have hit an alligator. So I think Tylers comparison is true. LOL
Oh man we see deer and get so stoked here in Cali lol so yes deer to you which is probably the same as dolphins to Florida lol.
Anyone else confused how we went from Mar 2 to Apr 13 and then back to Mar 2? 🤣 I think your laptop had a moment hahaha love you guys and the vlogs!
The equivalent to dolphins in florida would be the black squirrels in South Fort Wayne, IN
Sour cream donuts are the best kind, hands down!!
First of all I’ve been watching you guys as a family for awhile and I have to say you are such an inspiration to me for how you travel with two little ones. I always love traveling vicariously with you! Also, can you link your sunglasses Jess?
Have you ever tried the water in your bacon Pan trick?
We love Destin,we stay at the Sea Oats.
So, Did You ever have a cookout with your New Senior Friends???
Id be in and out of target quickly too if my cart sounded like that ! Normally they are so smooth you forget you’re in there and magically your cart is full and your wallet is empty 😂

Where were you staying in Destin FL, during this visit?
Thanks for sharing ❤
How is there no one on that beach? The weather?
I’ve lived in south Florida all my life and only saw dolphins in the wild one time, and that was in South Carolina 😂
Wait.... How do you make bacon in the oven? I need more info. Doesn't it splatter everywhere in your oven?
The sea was angry that day my friends...
Bacon in the air fryer
Post coffee talking speed at x10. 🤣 16:45
South Dakota’s equivalent to dolphins would be Buffalo haha 😆
How do you bake bacon
ok here's a tip: I cook bacon on a george foreman grill right next to my bed. I like to wake up to the smell of bacon. sue me. Just watch out not to step on it!
