I was not given saline but special foam to apply and shampoo for the rear of the head. This was to be used from day 1. Why do some say saline and others say warm water wash?
I had 4255 grafts done. At day 15 massive shedding started. Now I am at day 23 and pretty much all transplanted hairs are gone. That was quick and brutal. I see people start shedding end of month 2.
Usually the shedding starts 3 weeks after the surgery, but there are individual differences. Sometimes it starts earlier, sometimes later. Hopefully the regrowth will begin a bit sooner too.
@@stu1038 Yes, I am almost at month 4 and I am super happy already with the result. The growth started around month 3 and then it grew quick. No worries, I looked the worse I ever looked in my life.
Is it better when the newly transplanted hairs shed sooner after or later generally speaking does it play a role in determining how successful the hair transplant is.
No, it does not indicate how successful the surgery will be. There are individual differences in the hair growth cycle and how the body and the hairs react to the surgery.
Hi I had a fut in the past and looking to do a fue but also add grafts to my fut scar one dr told me the hairs will not grow in a scar tissue can this be done at your place?
We do not recommend wearing hats for around 2-3 weeks - initially, the newly implanted hairs can get stuck to the material and may get pulled out. Every clinic has its own set of rules for the aftercare; it's always best to follow your doctor's advice as they are the most familiar with your case and your recovery.

Did your recovery grow back quicker? I am in week 3 also & all transplanted hairs are gone… looks worse than before the operation!

How extensive is the pain factor? Will I be able to travel by myself and drive after the procedure? Are drugs involved? Lots of swelling?
Depends on how many grafts you will need. I’d recommend have someone else drive you just to be safe.
Thank you 😊
Glad we could help!
very helpful
9 weeks later my head is still numb and red.
With larger procedures and/or more sensitve skin, it can take longer for the redness to fade away. Make sure to have it checked by your doctor.
Great video very clear information
Why should i don't wear hats, if my doctor told me that i can use hats after 1-2 days?

@@HairPalaceHairClinic if hat can't contact with newly implanted hair, would it be OK?
