So when the flesh dude kicked the first GATE, it was just breaking in the town, Maria wall was still fine. But now, the one running breaks the second GATE, that's the gate of wall Maria. Considering it's Hannes's first time seeing the titan, let alone try to fight it without any experience, I understand why he did what he did. It's the better choice. If he fought that titan and eventually die, no one will save Eren and Mikasa. I love Hannes, surely killed him inside leaving Carla like that 🥺 and rip Eren's mom.

BUT also if the "to be continued" does show up, then anything after that is usually only small previews for next episode and something you kan skip.
Iron man didn't kick the 2nd wall, it is still Wall Maria (main wall) ☺️ the 1st wall where the tall titan kicked is a small outer wall attached to Wall maria. It is Eren's district, called Shiganshina. The purpose of that small outer wall is so titans will be drawn to that wall first, rather than be all around all sides of Wall Maria.
