Empowered By Place: Five Points Historic District

On September 2nd we had a wonderful conversation about Five Points, past and present. Sharing their insight on this topic were Terry Nelson, special collections librarian at the Blair-Caldwell Library of African American Heritage, Terri Gentry, Board Member of the Black American West Museum & Heritage Center, Sharon Nunnally, who was instrumental in creating the Five Points Historic Cultural District, and Fathima Dickerson, whose family has deep roots in Five Points, which include owning and operating the Welton Street Cafe.
