Apparently this MV refers to the Greek mythology about Pan. He was an ugly looking god of the wild, music,forest etc. Though he was scary looking, he wasnt actually evil just playful. The MV starts off as kinda scary but the scary figure turns into a bunny near the end. Newjeans plays the nymphs often associated as companions of Pan. As to the lyrics, Newjeans is telling us bunnies that they will be back with more music As Soon As Possible. Dreamy song❤
I personally love that they had the Korean gals do most of the English lyrics and Hanni's main part is in Korean. The Korean English accents really add to the otherworldly fantasy texture of the song, especially Haerin's deadpan "let's talk." If the Aussies had done most of the English lyrics, it'd still sound great, but it'd sound more fluent, more normal, and less dreamy, in my opinion. A Korean English accent is much softer than, say, German or Chinese accent, as Korean is a flat language that lacks harsh consonants. Hence, it sounds a little foreign, yet pleasing, to many listeners and was arguably the secret sauce that made BMO from Adventure Time work, and it works well here, too.
Hanni not Korean at all , she born in Australia parent are migrated from Vietnam, the accents of English she has are just same like Danielle, Australia English.

I feel the red velvet creepy undertone vibe with this mv. Like their haunting stares they do as well as their group poses def reminds me of RV. I’m an RV stan so I def love this direction NJ is going with in this MV

If you have gotten to Oh My Girl's Windy Day on your deep dive you can see some similarity between their video and ASAP. Substitute Deer for the Bunnies, fairy like, and takes place in the forest. The choruses are totally off the beaten path, but just work so goooooood.
