Some good news and bad news: The tint that was one the windows WAS old. Keeping that in mind, I wasn't surprised that the tint wrinkled up at the front corner of the window after putting these on. I ended up getting the windows re-tinted and I have had no issues. Good news is that the noise on the passenger side did go away with the addition of the window visors! That alone was worth it for me. Thanks for checking it out.
I'm so glad it helped!! The first one took me so long, haha. Those little tricks can sure help things. Thank you for taking the time to comment! Those types of comments are exactly why I spend the time making the videos. Really appreciate that. Enjoy your visors!
I bought decent 09’ f150 a couple months ago & was worried that I f**ked up the windows of my fairly new truck with these inserts. I’m glad you mentioned that you have to help the window roll up for a couple days. Makes me feel a ton better about putting these in
Dude, I feel ya. I hate that feeling when you go to do something that's supposed to make the vehicle better and you feel like you screwed something up in the process. Been there many times, haha. I hope you had some success with them! They do take a bit to get settled in but the ones in my truck are like butter now. Good luck and thanks for commenting.
You just saved my azz... With this video because at first i tried installing the front ones with the forward tab inside the channel and the window Barely you would go up and wanted to come off the track Now that your video pinpointed it has to be on the outside bingo installed Perfectly thanks again
Love this video! I’m getting ready to put some on a Toyota 4Runner. Your video was informative 👍I will be doing the cheek test as well 😁Like your style! Keep rocking it 💪
So glad to hear it Carl! We have a Volkswagen that was a bear to get them to stay in the track right. Its aggravating. Even had one fall off the car, thankfully pulling in the driveway hahah. Let those windows stay up for a solid day or two and it will help them get into position. They kind of have to "break in" a bit.
I didn’t know that the bottom/lower part is supposed to stick out. I was getting weird noises rolling it up. Also thanks for the tip to not mess with the windows for a few days.
@@TheChapMX nice! I actually just threw a set of wind deflectors (Weston's, but same thing) on my 08' 6.4L. Was just looking for a what's what about it, and your video helped me make that a 15min job and it looks mint. Appreciate it 👍
@@leapinleamer Comments like your's make my day man I'm so glad it helped!! I really like having those on the truck. Glad it worked out for you! Thanks again man
