I had this problem, there’s some solo strat involving the fortress loadout in easy that takes like 12-14 minutes with time scale that will help you get all the books faster than any other method, just do that if you can

That's exactly my problem. For me, the event is going to end before I get home and have the chance to grind for it despite having around 80 bombs to try for
Tbh the siege engine I feel like should’ve been a ontop bonus for getting every other index log from the event. Just a ‘good job for getting them all’ thing. Since gameplay wise it has no gimmick besides killing units it would be nice if it held important lore so completionists and lore finders work more into it instead and get a decent reward instead of this stupid rng ontop of another 5 things.
Unless they add pumpkin bombs to a crate them extending the event is pointless. Everyone interested in the logbook has likely used all their pumpkins so extending it does nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I think they should cuz all it will do is make more players happy and (I’m no coding expert so idk if this is true) it would prob take minimal effort just to extend the event for like 5 days and release the actual update at the same time.
They should honestly milk this and put the Halloween consumable crate out (just realized it didn't have one but still should add one) or make a legit way to get the logbook (there no downside for them to allow people to get the logbook)
Siege engine is easy to get. I got it with 80 pumpkins in less than 2hrs. Just speedrun to wave 4, throw pumpkings until health regen and nuke. Idk why doing it with the second and third siege engine was harder, so just do it with the first one and leave when you kill it. Also do this in a squad, don't even think about doing it solo.
I believe so. At least 2 weeks cause leaving 4 weeks worth of pass just feels like another showcase of devs not caring for satisfaction and more so for money (since then players can only pay for battlepass and not enjoy event)

Yeah but a lot of people don't have some of the logbooks yet such as siege engine since it was discovered last minute, I don't even have the Frost Spirit or the crystal logbook yet.

It's basically impossible to find people with pumpkins so i had to quit with 13 kills 💔

That's the problem. Getting the pumpkin bombs is the hard part. I had to leech like crazy to get the logbook.
