    MUST WATCH
    In today’s video we are doing practical pattern draft of double breast blazer coat / jacket @topts(topstitch tailoring studio)
    WHATSAPP: +256707310852
    TEL: +256779892259
    Using these measurements:
    BODY MEASUREMENT NEEDED
    COAT FL = 28" ( 71.1 CM )
    SHOULDERS = 17" ( 43.18 CM )
    CHEST = 39" ( 99.06 CM )
    BELLY = 37.5" ( 95.25 CM )
    HIPS = 43.5" ( 110.5 CM )
    ACROSS BACK = Chest divide by 4 minus 1"
    ACROSS FRONT = Chest divide by 4 minus Chest divide by 48
    NECK = ????
    SLLEV LENGTH = 24" ( 60.96 CM)
    CUFF / WRIST = ????
    of this table that we used in our
    Previously sleeve coat theory calculation tutorials
    Below is a standard denomination table:
    ANY BODY MEASUREMENT
    DIVIDE BY ÷ 48
    ÷ 24
    ÷16
    ÷12
    ÷ 8
    ÷ 6
    ÷ 4
    ÷ 2
    NOTE: APPLY THEM WHERE NECESSARY
    Other requirements that are needed when drafting any pattern for this project I will need:
    A note book
    Drawing rulers preferably fashion rulers
    You will also need a tracing wheel
    Paper scissors
    Tape measure and
    Different color marker pens etc
    So ladies and gentlemen
    Guide 2
    When drafting a blazer coat pattern you have to draw one vertical straight line and 7 horizontal lines which are distanced and placed vertically from each other using the body calculations as you will be seeing in this video.
    To elaborate them better I will be marking and labeling these 7 lines alphabetically.
    Please if this video tutorial has been helpful to you Guys I real need your support to help this channel grow to 100 million subscribers by liking, sharing this video, and leave a comment on anything you did not understand in the drafting part I would wish to read your comments and give you back the replies and don’t forget to subscribe to this channel for more future video of the same.
    GOD BLESS YOU ALL SHALLOM

    Round chest 39 inches Divided by 12 chest 39" ÷ 12 = 3.25 (8.25 cm) Back neck good explanation I understood . But please 🙏 make me understand 1.625 thank you😢

    • @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso
      @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso  2 месяца назад

      Ok 1" Then 0.625 convert it into cm (1.5 cm)
      1" = 2.54cm So 0.625x2.54= 1.58cm you ignore 8 to make 1.5cm or round up 8 to make 1.6cm

    • @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso
      @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso  Год назад +1

      Thnx for your inquiry please.
      The division ➗ of:
      48, 24, 16, 12, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 , those are standard division jargons that u a pattern maker or tailors can use. It's like any other divisions. I hope you always divide your chest measurements by 4 for shirts, thigh by 2 for trousers etc so still use 48, 24, 16, 12, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, applicably.

    • @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso
      @ToptsTailoringStudioAfricaTeso  2 месяца назад

      Convert 0.8125" Into cm. 1" = 2.54 cm. Now get 0.8125x 2.54= 2cm
      If have have tape measure that counts upto 10th it's ok but this normal ones its hard u just need to improvise a centimeter ruler.
