I know it might be ever so slightly late, but i just got the whole "call me zeus" joke. Because kronos was zeus's father, and ended up getting murdered, or the whole "you're immortal, so you don't get to die" thing that gods like to do, by zeus.

Its possible that they were able to find the remains of Guyver-2's control metal in the wreckage and study its remains. They also had some data from G1 and G2 while they were in their possession. Dr. Baucus is a super genius, after all, and Chronos has unlimited funds to experiment. From what I remember in the manga, they had samples of the Guyver organism and were able to replicate it. The artificial medal was created after as a means of control, just like the creators did.
he got him back, he isn't a clone (his body is) but that's the only thing (in the manga a part of his previous body appeared and guyver 3 explained guyver 1 that even revived he was still him
Nothing agains the guyver series (it's awesome) but guyver 2's defeat in this scene makes it one of the most bulls**t losses ever. G2 basically straight up kicks G1's ass complete and was about to finish him off when his control medal seriously malfunctions (it was damaged previously when they were recovering the G2 unit) during the critical moment. So basically sho fukamachi who couldn't do shit in the fight, "wins" because of it. At least in the older anime series, sho and lisker had more of a proper fight and was holding his own. During the fight, sho's attacks further damaged G2's control medal which later caused it's major side effects, which gave sho the upper hand. The original anime's version of the fight at least made the fight outcome more believable.
Well Lisker is a trained warrior, he knows martial arts, is in top shape and an adult. Sho is just a teenager in high school, he stood no chance really.
this is a different story. in the manga it's just like the OST, Lisker shows up for one chapter than dies. For the reboot they felt it was a waste of his character so they gave him an extended role in the story. He's basically the final boss of the Japan branch instead of fused Zector.

Oh actually youll be surprised. The original female guyver 2 on the manga. When she calls out the guyver the transformation obliterates her clothes. Meaning when she takes off the armor she is naked. Plus she even has a small limit to use the armor. So youll see her naked either way. Gotta love japan.

I don't get this anime, "death of guyver" is just a sad clip where the real guyver dies? guyver 2? ok im really lost now, i just want the hero to live.
This series only went for 27 episodes and all them episodes is just the first season only. Second season has never been conformed and the good thing is that the anime is still continuing. But the difference between the 2 series OVA and this one. This one stays true to the manga and the OVA kinda goes with the manga but kinda did its own thing. Plus the OVA only had 12 episodes.

Yeah the original was way more violent and had way better voice acting behind it. Not saying it doesn't have faults, it definitely does, it falls off pretty bad after the first 6 episodes.

@JCCT100 in the manga snd the OVA, he does, but in the series made in 2004, the writers liked his character, so kept him in it for longer.
Love the show and the manga. It's a shame guyver 2 died so quick though. His suit was my favorite design. And 2f doesn't Stack Up to the original two

Nah. In the OVA, Sho spent the entire fight dodging Lisker's attacks. He got one shot in, but he was soundly thrashed afterwards by Lisker
Teddy Beer That one shot in you are talking about was a major factor of the fight. He slashed his eye which is so close to his damaged control medal.
Up until the second arc I think the OVA did everything better, even if it isn't Manga accurate.

The hero, Guyver 1, still lives :). Guyver 2 is a bad guy. He dies that is all. There are 3 guyver units. You see them all in this clip.
