    All possible groupings are prime implicants and implicants as well. The unique minterm which is not covered in any other grouping is called essential prime implicant. Correct me if I am wrong

    if the impicant is completely covered by another implicant less than that for eg , 4 (quad)is covered by a bunch of 2(pairs) will it prime or not

    Give a majar difference between prime implicants and essential prime implicants?

    • @SPTutorials42
      @SPTutorials42 8 месяцев назад +1

      Prime implicants represent groups of adjacent cells that help simplify Boolean expressions, while essential prime implicants ensure that all minterms of the function are covered and are therefore indispensable for achieving a complete and accurate simplification.

    i like how u use "minterm' instead of implicant

  • @tilakrajchoubey5534
    @tilakrajchoubey5534 2 года назад +2

    In that case every prime implicant would be essential............else there will be no sense in taking those implicant that are not prime.
