What always makes me laugh when a chef says it only takes 10 min.
We all have all these condiments in our cupboard not.
We all stand for 10 min chopping everything and then if comes to washing the 10-15 pans pots etc you used to make the recipe.
More like an hour.
Can’t say I have ever seen nigella washing her own pots pans etc.

Small gherkins or big gherkins are all called cornichons in French. So why Nigella feels the need to call them in French is open to interpretation... snobbery maybe? 🤔

And in the UK gherkin refers to the big pickles whereas cornichon is used exclusively for the smaller to differentiate. I’ve only ever seen them as gherkins and cornichons respectively
