I think this discussion is a good thing for Kenya as something has to change.,There is a much need to be a seating to deal with issues that have faced our country for years. Let's not look at it as negative but a way of moving Kenya forward. Open and honest dialogue is what makes people to progress. Madam Koome, its good to come to the rescue of your judges as the CJ, however, the elaborate response on what Judiciary has adjudicated in 2023 in response to RigG's street challenge to you to tell the public is by all means unnecessary by a person of your stature. Anyone that challenges your competence as Judiciary could do so in writing the you respond. Here you reacted as if you feel threatened by another arm of government. You are independent and guarded by the Constitution. Never feel threatened, or fear or feel compromised to seem to act a certain way to guard your allocation. I hope and believe you are not reacting because a senate asked the president to slash your 23M by half and allocate to the sectors that toe the line. You sound like you panicked after that public pronouncement in Nandi. If you keep acting like this going forward,, than giving justice to every Kenyan(all and sundry) madam CJ you will put Judiciaryin jeopardy and ultimately compromise its independence. Please guard that arm to the hilt according to your oath of office and the law as established. I stand corrected though.
