This is incorrect, you only need to shake around a capsule base to realise that. Yes you don't need, it but its safer to remove the side to side movement to as little or less than 1 inch.

Even when properly installed, the capsule seems very flimsy. Hope that is by design.
Why doesnt maxi cosi sell with the clip though? Why would it be sold unable to be safe? Thats seems stupid to me.
