You mentioned Investors at the beginning of your vid. It seems to be, especially in the US, 1st time Home Buyers are being out bid/priced by Investors. It's such a big problem in the US! As much as they are credit worthy & have average cash flow, new Home Buyers can't compete with these Investors and find it difficult to buy or rent. Even with the Investors to Owner caps, it's super difficult: especially in CALIFORNIA. 😞

The washer and dryer in the bedroom of the second place is a NO. I've always liked the Mercer building, but it's such a luxury building so it's always more expensive. The rent prices are insane.

    They can keep them. 🤣
I live on my boat. I pay $250 a month all in. Best view and amenities (yacht-club) possible.

The studio had a disproportionately large kitchen. The one-bedroom is legally a studio, but a large one. The two-bedroom is quite OK, and all three are expensive!

I dont get it...low unemployment, high rents, high cost of living, economy not thriving....3200/2bd are quick to rent. what is going on?

They brought in 1 million people this year + refugees and students, and built 2000 affordable units in the same time. There literally isn't enough units in the country for the people in it already. We're already lacking a couple million units, and it's supposed to shoot up to 6 million deficit this decade. 5-10 people living in 1 place can pay a lot more than 1 or 2 people.

I'm always amazed at the differences in costs from one city to another. I know a lot depends on amenities, wages, etc. = but in my area five miles north of downtown Phoenix, a two-bedroom apartment (or condo) rents for about $2,000/month. But downtown in a high rise here, the prices are probably even higher than a similar place in Toronto. Housing inflation all over North America seems to be CRAZY. Unfortunately, these things are driven only superficially by consumer demand and more by interest rates and sheer greed.

We’re so screwed, this is a dark comedy, this is laughably absurd, how did we get here. It’s just an absolute open season on renters buttholes and that’s just the way it is now and forever. I guarantee that first pos is gonna be $4k by next year and who’s gonna stop that? Who can say that isn’t allowed? It’s completely legal and successful as long as everyone is charging the same thing. This is never going to stop.

Too Expensive! Be careful with the scams ! & the price of real estate properties are drastically plunging and will be even worse based on all the accumulated datas. The market now is literally a disaster.
They are trying their best to sell it with a unreasonable price before the price drops very sharply.
