- Finally. I started this project in January and it's FINALLY finished. I had breaks here and there but here it is. I worked extremely hard on this. About 1-2 month's work of time. That includes spriting the custom poses, animating,re touching, etc. Throughout this animation, you can see my animating skills improving section by section. I never really expected it to be this long but here it is.
This is my new character Neku. I got the idea for his powers from listening to music. I listen to music in class during school, at home, in the bathroom, just about everywhere lol. His original powers was going to be that he would fight to the flow of the music but I changed it to sound waves and glass. I portrayed Makani as a human that can control wind, but a wind walker is NOT human and according to Makani's Wind Walker bio, I would've lost.
Thanks to my subscribers and viewers for sticking with me all this time. Even though I release videos slowly, people are still subscribing. So thanks.
I never thought of dropping this project but there were times where I didn't feel like animating but I kept thinking about something that driven me to keep doing so. That's personal.

I'm speechless, Simply epic, My friend. It's quite rare seeing original animators like you. I can't tell you how much I'm impressed by your skill. Wow those combos are amazing and pretty creative. I love how you made more glass with the sand and how you used them, especially that final hit. This makes me want to step it up a lot. I think everyone should step it up cause this is too good.
i kinda like it when he uses sound and glass (2 things that r not expected to be something powerful) to fight people.
sounds are indeed powerful. it can burst a bird's lungs and can burst a person's eardrums.
Potential story. Animation quality? Better than Dray. Nuff' said. I've been waiting for one of these.

Its funny that i had the exact same idea of making a Neku char as me in Maplestory.
Its just that i couldnt find any hair or clothes that even looked close.

Man the good ol days when I watched all the mbr fights even till this day swear it seems some animations from years. Ago still can't be topped by alot of animations made today

This was awesome. Why? Because it was creative, long and has a lot of effort into it. It's not perfectly animated, but everything in the animation makes up for it. Good job :3

WOW, idk how but I noticed that that was Neku when the anime kind came at 2:15. I just saw him in a kingdom hearts video yesterday! HOW COULD I HAVE NOT NOTICED?! After that I was speechless! Sorry my sister really likes that game then I liked it afterwords. Found out that neku was from a game named The world Ends with you.

I've got a few things to add to the abilities of Makani. Of course, this won't apply if he cannot use or hasn't got the knowledge to use them.
Wind magic (or control of wind) can be used to create strong force, cutting winds and even some electricity (static electricity, that is). I saw Makani use those abilities, BUT.... I missed the fact of creating stale air. Wind control can cause air to be completely motionless, even to the extent of slowing down or stopping airborne objects altogether.
yes that is true but at the end he shot arrows that turned in to a big spike like thing and came at him fast and he did not have the time to react , and if he did crest shit air it would easily turn in to a fist fight and why? cause sound can even destroy the body's cellular structure. so he was screwed either way.

@xMegamex im huessing sound as in vibrations. fast enough frequency can heat things up, and a shockwave is a powerful blast of sound basicly. idk maybe im wrong

Using glass is pretty logical actually, because glass can be broken with heavy sound. Then, let's consider sound is a wave. A wave is a kind of energy. Energy can be turned into heat without any problem. That's EVERYTHING that happened in his conversion to heat.

Thank you Captain Obvious. I said MY ,as in MY maple animating character, is BASED off Neku FROM The World Ends with You. The only thing I had used was his looks. His powers are completely different. I never claimed Neku from the game as my own.
