Yeah, I don't post much between November and April because my solo career is pretty busy. I wished I could sit at home and post videos every other day like all the youtube guys do, but it just doesn't pay enough for me to quit my job. I make too much doing my solo act. I use these videos mainly for advertisement for the people who are interested in booking me. That is why there is such a variety of style on my 2 youtube channels. Thank you for watching my videos. More to come this summer.
In the meantime, I will be posting some of my repertoire of songs. You'll never know what I will come up with. I have nearly 1000 songs that I've sequenced over the past 30+ years. Stay Safe. hopefully, we'll get back to business as usual.
@@leftyjaysmith Jay, we're just wondering where you have been? Are you doing OK? I know we are all getting older. Are you having any health problems? I would like to pray for you if I may. Thanks, and God Bless.
This is fist time I knowing you and hearing you like a cover, Jay Smith. My congratulation, you realy is the best. I am sending my best regards to you from Portugal.
Yes, all the songs I post on youtube are my own tracks. I've been making backing tracks since 1987 when I started my solo career. I've created these songs on my Yamaha MOXF6 keyboard workstation. I dont use software. I just use a click track and lay down the drums, then bass, then piano/organ or whatever is needed. I make sure I leave a hole in the track so my guitar or keyboard playing fits and fills the song. Thanks for watching!
I bought the Ksounds Organimation download that uses the internal organ voices in the motif/moxf and fixes the leslie cabinet sounds. I pieced the organ tones together to get that tone. Really, all my sounds I use has been edited a bit from the original. I'm also using an edited version of the finger bass with a slight bit of pick bass added. concert piano comes in when I take the main solo's so there is no drop out when I change from rhythm to lead.
Every time I say old lefty JS is done he comes back with something mind-blowing.

That organ sound blends in well. Which preset was that? On The Road? And the bass?

Have not seen you play a PRS yet. Is there one in your collection?
