Wow, this video perfectly captures what makes UW special, especially in how the USA is today! The emphasis on freedom to explore, question, and engage in open dialogue without censorship is so refreshing. In a time when it feels like everyone is divided, it's empowering to see a university that encourages critical thinking, respect for others' opinions, and personal growth. Even though I’m not at UW yet, this makes me really excited about the possibility of being part of a community where intellectual freedom and curiosity are truly valued!
You say you don't want to censor or burn bridges, yet you already have. You have limited students, staff, and faculty and should be ashamed of yourselves for letting down everyone, and the data next year will show that. Enrollment will go down, and so will your money. You defunded DEI, and yet, somehow, you claim to stay out of controversial issues. You aren't protecting Wyoming. You are discriminating. "Equality State" yeah right.
