    For the Natural Ophthalmics Ortho-K, there are thin and thick. The thin is for daytime, and the thick is for night, right ? For insert, use the thin, For remove, use the thick? Please give us some idea. Meanwhile I would like to know where to buy this comfort drops. Thank you and wait for your reply.

    Hello! Thanks for all the great comments! If your lenses accidentally contact water, then you should rinse it with sterile solution before inserting it into your eye. We recommend using the same solution that you use for soft contact lenses (ie. Biotrue, optifree, renu, etc) for rinsing.

    For those who are new to this, please do note some important tips from me(i started wearing these lenses for a year already)
    1. it is much better to put a flat mirror on your desk, look down on the table when you insert them .
    2. When the mirror is flat on the table, you need to add a few drops of special lubricant to make it more comfortable wearing. ortho k lenses are quite hard compared to normal ones.
    3. Ortho k lenses are ones you wear overnight. So When you remove them, put some eye drops to rinse your eye, because your eyes might get dry from the overnight application of lenses. If you use the plastic tube to remove with dry eyes, there is high possibility that you might get your corneas damaged.
    4. Ortho K lenses are very easy to be broken apart, so keep in mind dont press it too hard.
    5. Be ware of the hygiene of your eyes and the lenses.

    • @Insightvisionoc
      @Insightvisionoc  3 года назад +5

      If the lens is itchy when you first put it on, then we suggest changing the solution that you clean it with. It may be an allergic reaction to the solution that you are using instead of the lens itself. We recommend filling the lens with a drop of preservative free Refresh Celluvisc as this helps to cushion the lens on the eye. This eye drop has no preservatives so it shouldn't be itchy! Hope that helps! - Dr. Lam

    Sorry I have quite a lot of questions here😂 I've had these questions all the time
    What is the multi-Action Solution used for? Is it something that can be used to replace the eye drop that you used in the video?
    I have let my lenses sit in the container for more than 6 hours and there is still bubble, is it safe to put in my eyes?
    My multi-purpose solution is expired but I haven't use the solution at all, is it harmful to my eyes?
    Thank you so much!!

    • @Insightvisionoc
      @Insightvisionoc  3 года назад +1

      Hi! The multipurpose solution is for rinsing the lens if it drops on the counter or if it has dust on the lenses, multipurpose solution is safe to go into the eye. We do not recommend using the multipurpose solution to replace the eye drop. The eye drop cushions the lens better since it is more viscous (thicker). If the lenses sit in the container for more than 6 hours and there are still bubbles in it, it is still fine to put it in your eye. Don't use expired solution- but you probably knew that :)

    I have a question. The place where I go for ortho k says this is how my daily routine should look like:
    Before putting them in, rub them with Boston advanced cleaning for 30 seconds, then rinse in tap water, then put in eyes.
    In the morning, take them out and soak them in Clearcare peroxide solution.
    I feel like the daily routine my ophthalmologist told me is not right. Please give me advice.

    • @therobotious9408
      @therobotious9408 3 года назад

      You should never ever let tap water come into contact with the lenses. Instead of cleaning with Boston cleaner, you should simply remove the lenses from the Clearcare solution that they have been soaking in, and rinse thoroughly with saline. They are then safe to insert in the eyes. The extra cleaning step with Boston cleaner generally isn't necessary since they're been cleaned with Clearcare throughout the day. No tap water!

    • @lilypianoforte

      My doctor said rinsing with tap water was an "old school method". It's recommended to use saline solution or I guess multi-purpose solution for rinsing. Rinsing with tap water is probably fine but I guess you could risk something being in the water and going into your eyes? (my bf still rinses his contacts with tap water and has been for like 15 years now).

    • @billy1513

      Get rid of them. If you have bubbles it means that contacts are not working properly on the parts of your eye where the bubbles are over. If you fill the bowl/part of the contact that is touching your eye, with the lubricating eye drops, it will decrease the chances of bubbles.
