Here’s a really important thing about red: his life didn’t go how he wanted it, but instead of checking out and being like Hyde’s parents, he acted like a rational human who loves his family and himself, and he took care of them (and all their friends 😂). That’s a real man.
“Rational human”
Lol
Hating every moment of it
He’d probably rather be fighting in Korea, still a good man
Red has a kind heart. He just buries deep, deep, deeeeeep down.
@@thisoldshittyhouse yo I’ve never seen RUclips superscript before! That’s fancy
Eric has less than ten bonding moments with his dad at this point and Donna makes him feel bad that he wasn't home instead. Neat.
And she totally made that up
Donna was always a terrible girlfriend. She does seem much more mature in that 90s show though. Shame it sucks overall.
I think she was joking
I have always hated Donna for doing that. Eric was not only having bonding time with his dad (which he never has) but I feel like he was kind of helping his dad with what he was going through and instead Donna tricks him into thinking that she wanted to sleep with him that night which honestly probably wasn't the case anyways
Wtf, she's just fucking with him, like a friend would. Its damn funny.
This episode is so true to blue collar workers in the late 70’s
That's how it is for blue collar workers right now. They are the most expandable works and these companies will make sure you know that you're replaceable. Asking for a union, raise, hell just a simple living wage increase will get your ass bounced faster than a super ball off asphalt.
Blue collar workers don't wear ties to work
They were the best of times (for us kids) and the worst of time (for some of our parents).
Well, there was a democrat in the oval office so of course the economy was awful.
This exact thing is still happening now.
I like how Laurie was laughing when Eric said to Steven " He's not an orphan, his mom just left him"
I know. It’s one of the few times they’re on the same side
Kids, the moral of the story is unless you're self employed, you don't owe loyalty to any company because they won't be loyal to you.
Well said!
Pretty sure i learned that lesson as a 12 year old because of this show
Not true
facts
Wow, sour grapes...you mean there isn't or hasn't been ANY loyalty from companies, EVER, in the history of companies??👎👎👎
Eric trying to act sober on the phone to his mum but just sounds even more drunk Is something I think a lot of us can relate to
"I didn't get a party, I didn't get a gold watch and I didn't get crap" 😂, despite the comedic nature of the show this was and still is the struggle of many blue collar workers who are loyal and dedicated to their companies they work for only to find that investment drops as does the opportunity to feed their families.
Red cares despite his nature on the show.
No, Red is grumpy BECAUSE he cares
Moral of the story: fuck having a partner and fuck having kids. They're not worth it.
I didn't really see him as a blue collar, he was a supervisor in an office setting.
I thin this is the first time ever Red actually called Fez by his real name
Technically Fez isn't his real name which makes it even funnier 😭🤣
Red starts calling him Fez on that 90's show
Fez tried to grease him up in the basement , pulling some bs on him in an early episode .
The 1st thing Red said to him was ' Fez is it ? ' ' Yes sir ' ' Get out ' haha
Hyde actually sounded offended when he told Eric to shut up.
@@MrV41N which I find surprising as he's not easily offended
@@iRazenrak yeah hes the best friend Hyde ever had though, seemingly the only real friend hes ever had. and since Eric is so nice when he cracks jokes like that in front of his family Hyde kinda feels betrayed and is reminded how he doesnt have a family like Eric
Eric “Hello Mother.”
The guy’s “HELLO MOTHER!”
Did Debra Jo Rupp ever win any awards for this role? She was stellar from the first the to the last.
She carried the 90’s show
@@Diaz5999 this is that 70s show.
@@bidenstillsucks2249 I'm sure he knows that. But like he said, she carried That 90s Show. In case YOU don't know it. They brought it back and it is called That 90s Show. Without Kitty it would have crashed and burned.
@@David-yo5rethe granddaughter is a complete bundle of nerves, she's the female version of Eric.
She steals every scene
The look Eric has when he calls kitty hahaha
This show gave me an urge to steal my parents beer. Things were different in the 70s but yet, so familiar in my generation.
"....Hello mother......I'm not feeling well." 😂😂
it's kind of sad what happened to red here. working for 20 + years at a job just to have it all go poof. if red lived in a bigger city he would have no issues finding other work but then this show would be totally different.
Red is a good dad. Hes stern and sometimes annoying but he cares for his kids and their idiot friends.
So kind that they took Hyde in even though money was so tight.
It was a sitcom. 😂
@@deadringer2349still bad real issues
@@deadringer2349My family took my friend in when his parents kicked him out. So this situation realistic to me.
3:27 This is probably the most heartbreaking face I’ve ever seen on this show, who’d thought Red let such a comment get to him. Can’t help but want to give him a pat to get his spirits up again or at least get his rough exterior to kick in again lol.
If everyone in the world 🌎 had a father like RED the world 🌎 would be a much better place.
I bet there would be a lot of foot up asses though
No it wouldn't lol but kitty absolutely
Well. I'll say, a lot of men do not know how to treat women. Donna was an ugly pos to Eric, but Red taught Eric how to treat a woman right. Didn't want his son to be a woman hating porno freak.
A verbally abusive father? Don’t think so. Red doesn’t need to hug Eric everyday, but don’t call him a dumbass. Shows how little he respects his son.
@@JoeStoppinghem I agree! But Eric really was a jackass tbh. It took me a while to realize this by how he treated Donna. I hate Donna. But for example on my point about Red being a good dad: Eric, at 17, pantsed Donna in front of everyone. Thats idiotic. And another time when Donna took off crying, Red lectured Eric about it. Average dad's don't do that. Super dads do.
Kitty: Amen. Everybody sit and eat!
😂😂😂
Second best save in the show.
Seeing Red getting buzzed is almost as funny as seeing get stoned😉😁🤣.
You know re-watching the show they really did read foreman right. He was a real man. Love his family was sensible. Loved those kids. But also took no shit. He was the real hero of this whole story.
Now you know this is the 70s where anybody can drink in the bar without being carded.
Or it's any town under 1500 people in any flyover state in 2023 lol
.......yay....?
4:43 Eric is me at this moment 😂😂😂😂
"This is your son, Eric. I am not feeling well."
@@InfamousLegatoKitty: “I’ll be right there.”
I miss the days I used to go out drinking with my Pops. My father was tough as Red too 😆
You got an elephant skin then😅
@@Dutchseries1 hell yeah. Tougher than Eric Foreskin that's for sure
@@luedanger561 😂😂😂😂
Red Forman: "Hey, hey! The gang's all here. How are you doing, Fez?"
Fez: "Oh, my God. He knows my name."
#That70sShow #LOL #LMAO #LMFAO #LOFL
Damn Laurie was fine af
Yes she was. Very talented too. Shame what happened to her 😞
What happened?@@KeithJackson-ux7eh
@@I_have_goals had a miscarriage. Slipped into drug and alcohol. Died of an overdose in
rehab of all places .
Red said his real name instead of Haji, Ali Baba, Tarzan or whatever hahaha
True shit . Red originally called Fez 'Haji' in an episode where Fez advised Red to put some salad oil in boiling water to keep it from boiling over . Fez goes downstairs and Red tries it and says ' What do you know , Haji was right ' which was pretty funny . Laff network has decided to get woke and edited it so he just says What do you know , he's right ...dumbass shit
and Tonto 🤣🤣🤣 oh man these wouldn't fly today
Donna wasn't gonna give him any, lets be real 😆
I’m a man. And I despise that phrase. It’s demeaning, vulgar and tasteless.
@Jody Owen in the words of Red Foreman, "Oh, boo hoo".
@@JodyOwen-we6ooSimp alert, im praying hopefully one day you get your balls back🙏
Well, why not?
@@JodyOwen-we6oo 🎻🎻🎻🥲
3:43 Oh my god he knows my name 😂😂
One of the best episodes
$20 then is about $100 now
0:27 and a really nice nice pair of skimpy pants
They could save a lot of money if they only cooked enough breakfast food to feed 5 people and not entire extra plates of bacon and pancakes like a fricken buffet
0:42
Kitty: “Take it off”
(Laurie flashing Hyde her bra)
Kitty: “Oh No! Leave it on!”
😂😂😂😂😂
3:58 This was one of the few moments when Eric got to see his father as just a man. A man who did everything he could to take care of his family and was beaten down by life. Red at his most vulnerable and lowest feeling like anger towards the plant for just tossing him away like nothing and sorrow that he is in a bad place where he can’t provide for his family. I don’t blame Eric one bit for sitting down and having a marathon with Red. It’s the first time they had to just bond as men and Eric could be there for his dad. It’s a beautiful scene when you really think about it. Eric is a good kid. Red did his job perfectly in my opinion.
To be fair I would take a night emotionally bonding with my father over being with my girlfriend any day, especially if she's gonna guilt trip me for it.
such a damn good show
"Let's go my dad's drunk"
Laurie seems like she is a pimple that just doesn't go away and is a nuisance .
brothers are always like that, we pick on whoever and gang up sometimes but is always for fun!
I forgot just how good this show was
That juice went everywhere.
Donna is so mean to Eric sometimes
She mean to him a lot actually. People say Donna could do better, but I feel it is the other way around.
She was joking around maybe you just lack sense of humor..
Gawd damn Laurie had great legs.
With all those kind games Donna played I'm surprised Eric didn't cheat on her.
Red : Everything is going to be great so great
Lori : Daddy , that is such good news ! Can I have 20 dollars ?
Kitty: You get in the basement !!
😄
To me it’s just great leadership as the head of the household. Yeah he can be honest and say they’re gonna struggle. However, he wants to be confident in front of his family. My parents were the same with the recession of 07
You skipped the best part where they are all drunk singing on the ride back home....
This was one of the best episodes!
Don't move, his vision is based on motion.
I respect Red Character even more
I love Kitty'sI!!! AMAN!!! LOL
My dad was basically Red
Oh my God he knows my name
They do that
4:35 let’s drink 🍺
... ... ... 1:19 Amen... I am slayed by how honest this was
Cue the video!
I've watched the reruns of this show over and over...was there ever an episode where red said what they manufactured at the "plant"???
Auto parts of some kind
So apocryphal! Here we are in 2022, and the world truly HAS gone to hell in a handbasket!!!
More TV role models like red Foreman..
SHE CALLED ME AN ORPHAN! 😠
5:20. Donna, that's terrible.
This is gonna be a waste of time but to everyone shitting on donna, you gotta remember that both her AND eric have never been in a relationship before.
She also messes with him because they've been friends since they were 5.
She's also a tomboy so she's not uber feminine.
Damn now they call him a rapist.
😈
donna is honestly the worst girlfriend, she is so toxic lol
aw man the edit doesn't make the Eric's call as funny as it should be. Before Eric leaves to get Red, Kitty says he is not drunk, he is just "not feeling well" and that is why Eric says that to her on the phone.
😮😮🎉❤😢
I don’t think Debra rump ever got any awards. Though she should have.
4:29.4:32.
I dunno. Sharing a few brews with the old man or being with a girl who seems to constantly be leading ya on and no follow through and all drama...I'd choose the brew with the old man, less drama.
Laurie should be working, I mean looks only get you so far right?
Since this was in the mid-70s when Kitty told Laurie to take off her shirt it would've been funny if she was braless.
Donna ruins everything
