I really do like that scandi. Real steel is a beautiful knife.
I like everything about that. Especially the steel 14c28n is a great steel. The right heat treatment it can cut as long as m390 but is much tougher.
The most important thing for me besides toughness is ease sharpening. An 14c28n is just like sharpening carbon steel.
I believe you sold me on a new folder bro.

They have a pouch for the Pathfinder folder which would be awesome if it had a belt attachment but unfortunately every single picture of it on their website is from pretty much the same angle LoL. Also, I think the knife looks better/cleaner without the excessive jimping.

boy idk man, it may a look a touch better, but i think the function aspect outweighs that extra little hit on aesthetics. if you look at the original even with the double jimping it looks great

The old one Real Steel is better than this new scandi, the scandi is for the bushcraft knives not fror the EDC.

i have the original, id say id prefer the original, but id want this micarta instead of g10. i do like the option for people though, the scandi would be handy in some aspects. but i agree, i like the original a touch more, wish theyd do micarta
