Charlie Clouser is (in my opinion) a genius for making this amazing soundtrack. Up until now, he has made the soundtrack for all eight movies (so including Jigsaw (2017)).

In a way, for me, it also expresses why I am specifically a fan of Saw III (and not so much of the other movies of the franchise, even though I respect and appreciate the original Saw and Saw 2). This song might give a kind of religious vibe, which was intentional because as time went on, jigsaw saw himself as a religious figure, probably because of his God complex, look at the way he approaches his victim, in a godly voice, because he believes he never did and will never do any wrong

It still was a lot of fun, but I remember that feeling standing outside in the cold awaiting whatever attraction was at the end of the line having just gone through a 15 minute haunted house walkthrough encountering a bunch of mental patients. This tune didn't just add perspective on how grim my fate was at that haunted house, but also reminded me of that, that ominous feeling that happens every Halloween. It happens on days leading up to Halloween, days like riding a bike alone through a neighborhood at night with all the neighbors dec lights on, the wind blowing especially cold. Or when you are talking a stroll outside and you start to feel the cold this time it's cloudy and the day seems nightmarish. Or on Halloween night when you're trick or treating and you pick up on the fact that the neighborhood seems more deathly quiet, almost similar in tone to that bike ride, but it's on Halloween, and the night feels more dark and ominous.
