I disabled updates first thing via adb when I got my S23U in February. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the "brute forced" updates, I wish there was an option to disable them j in case bc I dont like seeing things change when I dont want them to. Thats j my opinion though, software updates are good, plus security updates.
